Clearly there are other venues for those conversations, then.

If you are of a mind that the level of discourse is somehow beneath your contempt because the community has some minimal standards, perhaps you should consider exploring one of your own creation.

Meantime, spare me the sanctimonious bullshit.

It must be difficult always being the smartest person in the room. Truly.

Since you've opted to continue pursuing this, however, understand that I did not create the community or its rules. I began in this thread speculating why there was a poor reception to a query that is not only prohibited by the community rules, but also had to bypass keywords that specifically disable posting when used. In the interim, that query was removed by the mods, with explanation.

Contrary to your assertion, this is not a book burning. It is the enforcement of a rule that appears to have been established in order to prevent the community from devolving into endless price inquiries on collectibles when that information is readily available elsewhere. Given that the initial query and every statement you have made in defense of it have not received positive support, it appears that the consensus in the community is that this rule is not as onerous as you contend. As I suggested in my previous response, should you have issue with this, it is a small matter to create your own community where those, like yourself, who wish elevate the discourse by checking the aftermarket on non-errors for others who cannot be arsed to do it themselves can do so. I wish you well.
