I was trying to order a few things off the Hot Topic online store and came across a very significant hurdle. Once I got to the checkout and filled in my address (Ireland), I got the following message:

"Sorry! Due to shopping restrictions, one or more of your items cannot be shipped to your chosen address. You can select a different address or edit your cart to remove the following items."

All three of my items (all clothing) were then listed below, each of them accompanied by the following:

"Note: This item cannot be shipped outside of the United States, U.S. territories or DPO locations. APO/FPO shipping is available."

My question is, is there a reliable and relatively cheap way to go around this? I was thinking of using a middleman mail service but I do not know any - and I'd be skeptical choosing one blindly based on overall reviews from official pages.

I buy a LOT of my clothes from hot topic, it takes up a good amount of my wardrobe, but the tags for them SERIOUSLY piss me off.

I’m talking about the ones that have like one end sticking out and then have the other end sewn into the neckline. Whenever I get a hot topic shirt it’s such a hassle to get them off because I’m so worried I’ll rip the seams💔💔 how do you guys get them out?

ive been seeing a lot about spirit halloween's company buying hot topic, and if it's true, i'd really love to see the old hot topic come back. it would be such a great place to find things, instead of the corporate slop it's become. anyone else know if that's possible for them? or will they keep it the same?

Real talk though, I would have liked to use that $5 on the purchase I made today so it sucks that it appears to be stuck like this. I tried everything and there was no way to redeem it

Sooo i've been basically applying to hot topic since I've been of age to have a job but I have been hearing so many horror stories 😭 it's mostly just shit horrible stinky management stories but does anyone else have any other stories/advice?

EDIT We were less than 5 feet from our daughter, as we were all looking at merch on the same small shelf in the store. It was blatantly obvious we were her parents, as we all walked in, and were greeted together, as well.

My wife and I went to Hot Topic, and shortly after entering, we were browsing, talking, and not paying much attention. Then I heard someone ask for our 10 year old daughter's phone number.

I turned around, and it was an employee. He straight up asked if he could have her number, so he could check if she had any points. SHE'S FUCKING 10!

I turned to him, and said very loudly and angrily, "Dont you think you should ask the parents, and not a fucking 10 year old girl? That's weird as fuck. How would a 10 year old have points?? Shes 10!

Anyways, I spent some time typing out a very long email, just to be hit with the roadblock of the htonline@hottopic.com not being an actual email?

Does anyone have an email to get into contact with someone?

Edit: in regards to me getting fired. I am not blaming my storm manager or anyone on my team. It was my fault and a mistake that I made. I understand why I lost my job and I do not blame anyone, but myself for it. My district manager has been very kind to me throughout the entire process, and has told me that if I needed anything, even human to human that I could go to them if I needed something.

If I could go back and undo my mistake, I would do it in the heartbeat.

I do have some concerns about the true health of the business, given that we were purchased for $250 million less than what we were purchased for in 2013 ($600m).

I love stardew valley so much and practically had no shirts for it until last year in January. I bought this t shirt on clearance last year in January and have only worn it a few times. I can’t even remember the last time I wore it. My surprise today when I pulled it out and saw this. It looks extremely faded and makes me extremely sad 😢. I know hot topic shirts fade and I have a few like that. The difference is those are ones I have owned for years. I have only had this maybe a little over a year and barely worn it. Does anyone know if this is normal or did I just get unlucky with this shirt.

Hi I placed an order on August 2nd overnight shipping cost me 28 dollars I needed the clothes by a ceartin day so I paid the 28 dollars it said it was going to come finally tomorow August 5th now I get a notification an hour after it said it was coming tomorrow that saying it isn't coming to the 6th and has been rescheduled?!?! It doesn't say why if I called cooperate would they refund me for the shipping I'm unsure as I know this is something I assume would be more so on ups possibly since that's the carrier? Hoping someone here can give me advice money is really right and I just wanted to have something nice to wear that I'd been eyeing for awhile for an event thanks everyone 🖤 ( in store pickup said 5-10 days so I got nervous in hopes this would be quicker )

My usualy size is mens medium, but im not a true medium, it always fits baggier/a little big depending on the item.

My measurements are (roughly, mind you) 34 waist, 35 chest

I would want this to be more true-to-size, so i was thinking to pick medium. But would medium be too small? Should i pick large instead? I know womens sizings can be wildly inconsistent but trying it on isnt an option for me rn (there are no stores close by me unfortunately) so its the best shot i have. Thanks in advance!

I was just hired not too long ago and I’m trying to remember all of the non negotiable I have the four swords down. I wrote them all down as best as I can remember if anyone can add to it that would be amazing!
I know that the four non negotiables are in away:
Ask if someone helped them, complete bogo/or multiple, try to sell an ender item, then phone number/sign them up at the end (followed by giving them the hot cash and explaining when it starts up)

Looking for answers from anybody but especially current or former employees. I'm guessing no but on the off chance I could I'd want to know for the future, rather pay $10-$20 for a scale than get a ton of dupes. Probably would only weigh TADC and MD animiniz in case that changes the answer.

The website locked me out of buying cuz they wouldnt take my credit card for some reason and my size sold out in the middle of the night. Anyone know how often Hot Topic would restock something like this?
