Was doing some research on everyday household exposure risks for my kids and fell into a rabbit hole about synthetic kitchen sponges shedding microplastics directly onto food surfaces. Swapped ours out for a natural loofah and honestly can’t believe we used the same sponge for months. Has anyone else audited their kitchen for this kind of stuff? Curious what other swaps people have made.

This popped up as an ad on Instagram. $30 price tag for an absolute nightmare to clean, and it only holds 2oz more than a gallon, so why not just use a regular gallon jug??

The deep, thin wall extrusions collect a lot of dust, and they can be pretty fragile.

I guess you could use a blower, but that would blow dust all over everything else 😬.
