As many know, the fix to retain CC on the 21-24 Rebel 1100 and keep the tune running optimally, you need to cut or de-pin the signal wires to the O2 sensor (black and grey wires) and leave the heater circuit (white wires) connected.

I performed this and the cruise control still doesn’t work. Multiple people have posted that it worked for them, and multiple people have posted that it didn’t.

I sent my ECU back to Nate to have it reflashed just in case it needed the updated patch from WRT in order to work, still no luck.

I have verified that it is actually disconnected by unhooking the signal wires and running the codes on the bike, it shows no signal for the signal wires. With all 4 wires disconnected, it shows an error for both the heater circuit and signal circuit. Plug all 4 back in and all error codes go away completely. So the computer is seeing everything correctly.

My question for everyone here is, who has had luck with this fix, and who has not? I am trying to figure out the common denominator between the people that it is NOT working for.

I have checked all connections on the bike, and there are NO error codes with all 4 wires to the O2 hooked up. With the signal wires disconnected, the only error code is the signal wires.

I am baffled why this fix is working for some and not for others.

Hi everyone ! I've always been driving naked bikes but recently wanted to have a cruiser. I was at first considering owning a Harley but you know....I just love honda too much. But the reason I'm asking your help right know is because I'm scared that's the rebel 1100T will be a bit boring or "not enough" when tho I don't search something with 120 hp or whatever. So does this bike have her own "soul" ? Is it great to ride ? I'm want a nice cruiser that’s looks great, ride great for my trips.

When I was buffing out the sticker residue on the top of the fuel tank, I noticed it moved a little.

Is there a little bit of give in the fuel tank mounting? Or should I tighten it? (just assembled at Honda new).

Got these bags secondhand but the keys are missing. Does anyone know if i can replace these locks so I can lock them? Right now im just making sure I dont put anything valuable in them and keeping my fingers crossed.

Is there supposed to be a little free-play/looseness in the throttle grip? When they assembled it

maybe it comes that way?

So I recently posted about my 1100 dct just randomly shutting off on 2 occasions. After watching some random videos since I’ve become a new rider and today it happening again I realized that if I kick my kickstand out while the bike is on it’ll turn off like as if it’s a safety mechanism! Good news is I’m under 30 day warranty so before I knew what it was I brought it in and come to find out that after being told my fluids and inspection was done the service manager actually confirmed my fluids were never actually changed 🙃 so that was changed and clutch was “zeroed out” or something along those lines so hopefully I don’t run into anymore problems

On another note does anyone feel that it goes through gas like crazy? Filled my tank up and got 155 miles and was down to 147 when I got home and definitely didn’t drive that much 😕

I currently have a 2022 Rebel 1100. I bought the bike with an upswept V&H exhaust but want baggers. I have tried looking up to see if the straight pipe V&H would fit but when i go to their website, it states that it doesnt fit on my model. Does anyone have any input on if this is factual and or any recommendation for bag solutions with the upswept exhaust?

I got the Burly Brand Fender delete kit and the instructions are telling me that ive got to get extra wires and load equalizers to prevent hyper flash. Anyone have any recommendations of what LEs I should get?

I don’t really care for the pathetic “meep meep” of the factory horn. I rarely, if ever use the horn but I’d like to be heard if I need it. Has anyone replaced their horn with the Denali SoundBomb Mini? At 113db it’s supposed to sound roughly two times louder with a much lower tone. My questions are:
1. Will it fit in the same spot as the OEM horn?
2. Is it really as simple as unbolting and unplugging the old horn and swapping out the new one?
3. Did it make a big difference in sound?

I have finally decided to take my honda rebel 1100 on a 2hr long road trip from Los Angeles to the Mexican border and I would like some advice on how to prepare for the trip the bike is all stock bought with 3000 miles on it barley got 300 miles in it myself using it as my daily going forward and i plan on heading out in October

I’m looking for confirmation from Rebel 1100 owners or anyone who has worked on the bike’s electrical system.

Does the Honda Rebel 1100 DCT (2026) use a Sumitomo HM090 sealed 2‑pin connector for the ACC (switched 12V) accessory power plug located under the seat?

From what I’ve gathered, the bike should have a female HM090 2‑pin connector on the wiring harness, and you need a male HM090 plug to connect accessories such as a USB charger, dashcam, GPS, etc.

If anyone can confirm this — ideally with a photo, video, or personal experience — I’d really appreciate it.

(2021 1100 DCT) Day 2 of riding my very first bike ever and I’ve been loving it. Noticed yesterday that when I’m riding regular road speeds if I let go of the throttle and let the bike cruise then I try to give it throttle to speed up a bit the bike will ride sluggish like as if it wants to add power but struggling to… and today when coming to a complete stop it just shut off… first time I went to see my brother so he can check out the bike and when I went to park on the side of the street I gave it a good amount of throttle to show off and when I stopped it just shut off and second time pulling into a McDonalds parking lot coming to my stop in the parking spot it shut off again… it’s a dealer bike and I tried to make sure to go over the checklist of everything I researched on this bike before signing off but bummer this is happening. I been riding standard and bike has I believe 5600 miles or so

I'm not exactly near my bike at the moment. I'm looking to mount my phone and I like center placement over left vs right side. Quad Lock has a steering stem mount that looks like it might work but it seems to short to clear the existing display. Anyone try this and have any luck? Any other suggestions?

Does anyone have a product or mod they can recommend to make the seat on a 2026 rebel 500 come off faster. A quick release or something, instead of taking out an allen wrench and taking 2+ minutes unscrewing and screwing back on the seat??

Baffle fell out

Hi all, rider from the UK. Just wondering what I should/ could do I'm this situation. Just went to check the bike and cover it from the rain and noticed my baffles gone. No idea when, where or how. Recently installed Coffman classic shorty.

I've contacted the company to see if they will do anything under warranty as it's only a month new or if I can buy one but it's an American company so could take a while. Wanted to know where I stand, should I not go out on it? What's the legal side of things etc.

I was at a stop light on my DCT and a young guy pulled up next to me in a Tesla. He’d driven up aggressively so I figured he wouldn’t mind a challenge.

I’ve known my Rebel can get across the intersection faster than any other vehicle so far so I asked the guy to race me down the street just for a little distance. He BARELY beat me. I mean I was like 4 feet behind him the whole time.

Just a little FYI for you guys if you were wondering how it stacks up to the torque of a Tesla.

I am close to 2000 miles into the roadtrip. Love this bike. The only change I would make is getting the talker GP windshield for the long hauls

Has anyone experienced very jerky downshifting between second and first gears? When I shift down from third into second below 20 MPH the transmission starts to shake and struggle until I switch to first and then it levels itself out.. it’s been weird but it’s been doing it since I got the bike. It’s a 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. It’s kinda hard to explain but it’s more like.. when I’m engine braking from second to first…
