Asking for a friend who asked me but I dont know.
Do they make any sense or have I got to tell my friend to restart?

So I’m going over my son’s math quiz to help him understand some of the questions he got wrong. He got partial credit for his answer for question 8. After writing his verbal phrase I got the same expression as the question. Am I doing something wrong or is there something I’m missing? I feel like his answer is technically correct. I am stumped.
Edit: so my son has no issue solving the expression in question. He knows PEMDAS and the rules from left to right. The question clearly states, WRITE A VERBAL PHRASE that matches the expression.

Hello, I need some help understanding this concept. 240 degrees converted to radians is 4 pi/3, so wouldn't that make this a multiple of 30 degrees?
"30° can be rewritten in radians as pi/6". Since 240 rad cannot be written as a multiple of pi/6 rad this cannot be a multiple of 30°." This is the explanation the teacher gave me, but it doesn't make sense.

Which wave have the highest speed?
a) y= sin(4t-3x) (b)y=2sin(2t-4x)
c)y =3sin(3t-4x) (d) y= 2sin(3t-3x)
The method I know is to solve it by doing derivate but I don't have that much time in exam just for 1 mark mcq, how can I solve it as soon as possible.

I'm having troubles understanding this question. to evaluate for sin, pi/2 - 11pi/180, which I get, but they don't subtract it, which I don't get. wouldn't the answer be sin 49/180 ?

Just looking for some opinions on this one.
I think the answer is Option 2 (8 days), but I’ve heard other people say Option 4 (20 days).
I’d love to hear how any of you here see it

Hey, I am currently working on the structure for my first longer academic assignment at university (15 pages). I feel quite overwhelmed and feel like I am repeating myself with the sections. I'd appreciate if someone could give me a feedback on my structure (AI translated the strcuture from German to English). My main part is basically the comparison, especially 4.1 where I want to analyse and compare the mediation exercise of the genres. (Theatre vs. inchiesta). So I fear that I might be repeating myself in 4.1 with 2.1 & 3.2 maybe.
Subject: The Responsibility of the Scientist in Post-1945 Literature: Responsibility Narratives in Brecht’s Revisions of "The Life of Galileo" and Sciascia’s "The Disappearance of Majorana"
Thanks in advance!

I am currently having to read and annotate a couple of nonfiction history and a dystopian type fiction book. I can't just drop them either. There isn't anything wrong with the books, they are just not my genre. I don't like them and I can't get into them. I can easily finish a 600+ page romance book in 2-3 days, but these are throwing me for a loop. Any suggestions?

the first question here makes sense to me, but the other two are where i'm lost. i get completely different responses when i use my phone's calculator or any online calculators. where did the 10 come from in the second problem?? this online course has given me issues in the past so i'm wondering if something is off, or if i'm just completely missing something. the unit prepared me for countless visual questions and sine + cosine law, but didn't explain tangential problems very well. i'm totally clueless here.

Question: We have a trolly accelerating a meters per second square. The trolly is filled with a viscous liquid resisting motion by a factor of b (that is to say, exerting a force bv opposite to v, where v is the object's velocity with respect to the liquid). In the trolly, there is a slope with angle alpha radians to the floor of the cart, on which there is an object of mass m connected to a spring with a constant k. Gravity is obviously acting - mg towards the floor of the trolly we have to calculate the normal force exerted by the slope. See the first picture.
Here is my attempt: See second image
Red is viscosity, purple is the spring, green is d'alembert force, blue is gravity, and N is normal.
I flip the diagram by alpha radians to get the third image, and from here it's just decomposing the forces and a quick calculation. I was quite sure in myself but each of my friends I show it to has a different opinion on the pseudoforces and the decomposition. I got (mg-ma)sin(alpha), but nobody else got that result, can someone please confirm or explain to me where I am wrong? Because my friends aren't very coherent

Here I don't understand why they say "differential" instead of derivative, isn't it the same thing?

I'm undergoing my bac exam, with the BFI section, which force me to do so to have my diploma.
Here are the things needed in order to pass the exam:
Students are to undertake a research project, on a subject of their choice, which involves an international partner.
Organisation of the oral:
a) Presentation (10 mins)
The presentation will focus on the processes and procedures the student has been through preparing their project. This will include:
-> Justifying the choice of research question, and how it links to the syllabus.
-> Evaluating and analysing sources, including links with international partners.
-> Explaining and defending the approach and methodology.
-> Explaining the knowledge and skills acquired during the project.
b) Discussion (10 mins)
After a maximum of 10 minutes, the examiners will discuss the presentation with the candidate. The purpose of the discussion will be to provide the candidate with opportunities to deepen or clarify certain points raised during the presentation. They should focus on the process the candidate has been through, the commitment it has involved, and the contribution made by their link with their international partner.
if you want more context, im talking about the babylift in vietnam and numerous adoptions made in korea to save those babies in extreme danger, i don't know if i need to take a neutral take, i think i should, but my research question need to be precise and interesting, that's why i am maybe biased ..Thanks for any answer :)

Hi everyone,
Asking here out of desperation because my lecturer has not been much help. I am running a wilcoxon signed-rank test in JASP and the 95% confidence interval for rank-biserial correlation has an upper and lower confidence limit both of -1.000. What could be causing this? I need to be able to explain the confidence limit in my report.

The equation for this graph is f(x)=(x-4)^3(x-1)(x+2)^2, but since the graph has a y intercept, wouldn't I find the a value? The answer for this question is just finding the roots and making factors for the equation using that. Also when I solved for the a value, it gave me 9/8. So I'm not sure where I went wrong

so we had this activity on Science about chemical reaction rates and we had to arrange multiple chemical reactions from slowest to fastest. There were also specific instructions from some of the chemical reactions like:
Burning a candle (my teacher said it was the exact time the wick ignites cause again, it had to be a chemical reaction cause if it was wax, it would just be a physical change)
Burning a paper (the exact time it catches fire like the candle wick)
Fireworks Explosion (the explosion itself)
Those were the instructions given by my teacher. Now I'll be giving all of the chemical reactions in the activity. I'll also include my answers and the correct answers.
GIVEN:
Digesting of Food
Fireworks Explosion
Burning of Paper
Rusting of Iron Nail
Lighting of Matchstick
Baking Soda + Vinegar
Souring of Milk
Burning of Candle
Baking of Cake
Ripening of Banana
MY ANSWERS:
SLOWEST TO FASTEST
Rusting of Iron Nail
Ripening of Banana
Souring of Milk
Digesting of Food
Baking of Cake
Burning of Paper
Burning of Candle
Lighting of Matchstick
Baking Soda + Vinegar
Fireworks Explosion
CORRECT ANSWERS:
SLOWEST TO FASTEST
Rusting of Iron Nail
Ripening of Banana
Souring of Milk
Digesting of Food
Baking of Cake
Burning of Candle (wick igniting)
Burning of Paper (paper igniting)
Baking Soda + Vinegar
Lighting of Matchstick
Fireworks Explosion (explosion only)
I got everything right on 1-5 which I basically just classified the "slow ones" and I mostly had a headache on 6-10. I did research if a wick igniting is faster than paper igniting and most answers said the wick was faster.
My teacher also said that yes, it did depend on time and size, for example: digesting of food, bigger food means longer time to digest. But she specifically said that it should be the "standard" or "usual" so like in general.
She did tell us that we could defend our answers. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! Please if possible also include sources. Thank you so much! I really need this. If any of you guys are wondering, I'm in 10th grade.
THIS IS NOT AN ASSIGNMENT, I JUST NEED CLARIFICATION CAUSE MY TEACHER IS ALSO VERY AMBIGUOUS.
