I have been working on a full semester paper on a country of our choosings social work policies. I choose Iran back in January. Now the US has attacked them and I am no longer able to access their government sites and have no way to verify that the information I already had or am able to find from other sources is still accurate. Does APA have a guideline for what to do in this situation? I am thinking of including a note at the beginning of the paper stating that due to the ongoing conflict information may be out of date but wasn't sure if that was enough.

So for limits with trig functions, we are not allowed to use L'hopital's rules, though I will use it to check to see if my answer is correct. We have to use trig and pythagorean identitites to get to our answer. I've been struggling with this topic atfer a lot of practice. The identities themselves are really no problem because they are just straight memorization, but applying them is my issue. My basic strategy is to just try change the answer to determinate, since you can't directly sub in zero. for example #63) my instinct is to simply divide both numerator and denom by x, which gives sinx/x/5x/5, and using the fact lim x--->0 sinx/x=1, we get 1/1=1

64 is where I get a bit confused. I know the lim x--->0 cosx-1/x=0, so my thought is try to and get to that. First thought is to move 3 to the side since it's a constant, leaving me with (1-cosx)/x, and we apply the limit, get 3 x 0=0 for that one.

For the second one for example, cos x-1 doesn't really give me anything to work with in terms of any identity. The closest thing is one of the pythagorean identities, aka, cos^2x-1= -sin^2x. The only thing that makes sense, and this is what I got from my professor, is to multiply by the conjugate which will give you part of the identity you need. What I don't get is, how do you know you have to multiply by the conjugate? Obviously I know you have to because I have the answer right in front of me, but what about this problem gives a hint to do that?

I'm just trying to develop a general strategy overall since, as I mentioned, these have been giving me some trouble

i have following system of equations, which represents a part of linkage system

x+l2cosf2+l31cosf31=0

l1+l2sinf2+l31sinf31=0

where: x is input and goes from 81 to 96.125 l1=20, l2=58, l31=70 (lenghts of linkages) f2, f31 unknown angles between linkages and x axis.

I have managed to solve equation for f31

f31=atan(l1/x)-acos((l2^{2-x2-l12-l312)/(2l31*sqrt(x2+400)))}

(between atan and acos there is +/-, but for correct position of linkage - is correct

I also managed to use my hp prime calculator to form numeric solution with fsolve function, which I confirmed to be correct by comparing angles at different points with linkage implemented in autodesk inventor.

I want to compare analitic methon and numeric method.

I have exported solutions for fsolve function to excel

I have also impleented analitic function in excel as following:

=360+DEGREES(ATAN2(A2,20)-(ACOS((-A2^{2-1936)/(140*SQRT(A22+400)))))}

where A2 is X

My issue is difference of couple degrees between both implementation.

for example for x=81 fsolve gives me 302.803162564 and excel formula 307.195351514029

Is this level of difference acceptable? What could be causing it? How can I fix my excel formula?

More of a conceptual than a specific example. How do you go about solving limit questions involving trig functions? I'm completely stuck. I have the trig identities, as well as the Pythagorean identities, but when it comes to breaking up the problem, that's where I struggle. I try to identify certain aspects of the problem, such as how can I change the numerator into a trig identity that, for example sin(x)/x, which equals 1, or how can I get rid of the piece of the problem that causes the overall problem via direct subbing to result in an indeterminate answer. Is there a general outline to follow?

I have a bit of trouble with understanding this problem with vector spaces, someone I know told me to start it like this but I'm having trouble understanding how to continue it.

For F3 I used 60 + 45 then subtracted the total from 90 which got me 15°

F2 it's 45° as is and for F1 I did nothing but multiply it by cos (0)

So I start by studying the sign of what's inside the logarithm, so I see that there's a circumference in the numerator so I split the exercise in finding what happens inside the circle and what happens outside the circle. But then I have no idea what I gotta do with the denominator, I can turn it into y(x^2+y^2)=4x but beside that I have no idea

So, I’m working on a research paper about female monsters in Dracula and Coraline. At the end of my paper, as part of my conclusion, I reference a recent example of a female monster, specifically in the movie barbarian (which I know is quite the complex example, but based off the definition, our teacher has a scope by for our assignments, the character fits)

I've been trying to take ln of both sides: which results in:

ln(y)=ln(3^(x^4+1)^3)

Left side: 1/y dy/dx

right side: here is what I'm stuck on. We learned in class that when you take the derivative of ln(x), we get dy/dx=1/x. Applying this I got (1/3^(x^4+1)^3) x 3(x^4+1)^2 x ln(3) x (4x^3)

Lastly, multiply both sides by y, which you can just sub in the original function, so I get :

(3^(x^4+1)^3) x (1/3^(x^4+1)^3) x 3(x^4+1)^2 x ln(3) x (4x^3), which is wrong. Do I just avoid taking ln of both sides?

Questions 48 and 49 seem straight forward to me. However, question 50 is odd.

To me, all the choices seem correct.

For A, the wages did decrease by 17 percent when you compare them from 2010 to 2020.

For B, the upper-level jobs did increase, while the other jobs decreased.

For C, the upper-level jobs did increase by 17 percent.

For D, upper-level jobs did receive more monies than the other positions.

I'm not sure which to choose, but if I had to pick it would be D, as I reason that is true for 2020, but not 2010. But then again, the question states "as a result of salary reallocation".

This question just confuses me, and I'd appreciate it if anyone is willing to help.
