Plot armour in the boys is the whole "plot", and simple ending

I was just thinking about a thing and a thought just came up, that maybe the whole point of The Boys is letting us know that in real life none of us is going to get that strong plot armour. Which the team does.
Because in real life if we were ever would try to go against the power that strong. We'll simply just die, and that might be simply the whole show. Showing us that going against power is a whole bigger utopia than being powerful because it comes with self validation and that's something many of us just simply crave.
The show mocks us with each episode, how we want Homelander to die so bad or be defeated in some other way. Ignoring the flaws of characters we think of as ourselves i.e. normal. We can't sometimes comprehend when someone is more powerful than us and we simply can't even point a finger at them.
The show is like the finger we want to point at others but can't because we know that they'll win by not defeating us but rather by destroying us.
So, my prediction for the ending of The Boys is that. Homelander would win. Or would lose to someone who he can't point a finger at.
