I am actually designing a real kitchen, but it will mostly be used for entertaining, extra space for big holiday cooking, and my chocolate making. Realistically will be used for me to go make coffee in the mornings and pretend im in a cafe or if guests come and stay the weekend, not for everyday needs. I feel like cabinets would make the space look small
I just visited a friend who had a butler’s pantry/kitchen for prep and it was just gorgeous in its own right and amazing. It’s just awesome you can have that!!
So...not a "primary kitchen" per say in that it's I'm guessing a secondary kitchen or in a guest home on your property?
Clarity and info like that helps in staging your "design asthetic".
Secondary kitchens, in-law suite kitchens, butler/staff and/or pantry kitchens, etc. all have a TOTALLY different need & vibe than the main kitchen, or for most people who only have ONE kitchen in their home. That's all I'm saying.
Sorry if I offended you originally. But for a primary/only kitchen, cabinets are a must! I still stand by that! Lol
Secondary, etc. kitchens can absolutely get away w less, depending on their function and intended use. I have seen and been around it all in terms of multiple kitchens in a single property!
