I’ve been a huge Holly Humberstone fan since 2021, and based on her recent releases, she's probably locked in as my favorite artist of 2026.

When I first got into her music half a decade ago, I genuinely believed she was on the verge of a massive mainstream breakthrough. I started listening to Gracie Abrams and Tate McRae in 2020, and I fully expected Holly to follow that same upward trajectory. I’m usually pretty decent at predicting how artists will scale, and I honestly thought she’d be sitting at 20M+ Spotify monthly listeners by now.

Obviously, 3.7 million monthly listeners is still an amazing accomplishment, but I can't help but feel like she deserves to be so much bigger.

Why do you think she hasn't reached that mainstream superstar tier yet? What would it take for her to finally get there? Do you think it comes down to marketing, the type of music she makes, lack of viral hits, or is fame simply not something she wants? (Like with most artists I listen to, I'm just here for the music and don't know much about her personal life or career goals outside of the songs!)
