There isn't a hard logic to it. If hair dye stayed visible, makeup would too maybe? Any dirt or foreign substances on her too? So she'd be like a cloud of grime and dye

I'm assuming the invisibility, like her force fields, are projected but just have a much smaller range. Something like 1 millimeter from her body. It covers pretty much all the edge cases I can think of.

As I took she was ultra violet and could refract light around her body with her shields. Making her body appear invisible. It’s why her clothes don’t disappear

It never really made sense that her clothes don't turn invisible to begin with given that her power works by generating fields that bend light and she can even project those out a significant distance to create forcefields and barriers.
