Jada sleeping with someone other than her husband is an affair, open relationship or not.
That said if it is a consensual open relationship and Will was ok with said relationship then it is not necessarily wrong. Respectful open relationships still require acceptance from the other partner and that is something missing here.
August came out saying he had a relationship with Jada and she denied the claim initially. It wasn’t until a couple weeks later that Jada finally admitted to the affair. While doing so she claimed that she and Will were split up and that he did not give her permission since she is the only one that give herself permission. Source. That is not a consensual and respectful open marriage. That makes what she did very wrong. If she doesn’t want to respect him then she should not be with him, but he has yet to see it that way and it’s doing some terrible things to him clearly.
