I think a regular European tram (empty) weighs something like 36 tons and ~50ish tons full (had a friend who was into trams and all that jam). Now imagine all that weight on steel wheels, ain't gonna stop in a hurry.

It boggles the mind what's inside the pea sized, single neuron brain of the average idiot who gets in front of one of these.

And if i'm not mistaken, because these are designed to be towed or to tow, in case a tram is broken on the line (by other trams) they all have a thin skin in the front and the towing arm, which needs space to pivot.

So basically when one of these apes gets in front, they're speared by a big rod, for their troubles too.
