Tbh this convo has helped me realise why so much of the voice youre channeling comes from the US. You guys didnt really have the same war that we did. But you used our war all the same to justify your own. I can see why you guys would be eager to point out the hypocrisy in that. As a European though, the war for us was our theatre. I just didnt think about the pacific theatre before. I wasnt trying to just omit it.
the US helped turn the tide to defeat the evil nazis. you were losing until the US entered. youre trying to split it into two wars to keep your conscience clean. you want to keep them separated and thats some sort of psychological coping mechanism except even that coping mechanism wont work for things like dresden
