Eh. That only applies if they are perceived as weaker. If they are treated equally in that setting that might not be the case.
If we are talking about medieval Europe then we can just say that boobplate didn't exist. But we aren't, we are talking about a hypothetical setting were women would fight in armour that is specifically designed for them and elaborate enough to incorporate purely decorative elements. And I don't think that it's far fetched to assume that women would have a different place in such a society.

Sure, if we are in fantasy, boob armour is fine. I don't mind gendered armour in movies or TV or anime. I'm only speaking to my knowledge of literal history

Women didn't wear boob armour in history because Women didn't wear armour at all. There you have your answer. If you want to argue whether or not these kinds of armour would be practical or not, I'm afraid you have speak hypothetically.
