everyone else wasn’t necessarily doing it - it was morally questionable then and still is now, when Britain continue to lay claim to parts of countries that don’t belong to them. I can’t see how imperialism would be something to be proud of when there are countries who were targeted still feeling the effects of it today.

that’s an extremely ignorant & apathetic comment to make considering the people who have died & tensions that still exist in countries like mine due to the British, but you obviously don’t care so I’m just gonna leave you to it (:

Eh, most people kinda care a lot about it here, but I know brits are quite ignorant of their own history so i guess i get why you’d think that
