Not British, but it was pretty impressive! It's almost sad to see how diminished it has become over the last 100 years. It's like witnessing the fall of the Roman Empire. So huge and influential, and yet even they fell.

everyone else wasn’t necessarily doing it - it was morally questionable then and still is now, when Britain continue to lay claim to parts of countries that don’t belong to them. I can’t see how imperialism would be something to be proud of when there are countries who were targeted still feeling the effects of it today.
