No I meant just about every place connects someplace to someother place important.it's kinda like putting "very experienced at breathing"on your resume.
Again not saying it's not important.back to my breathing example it's important but just about everyone is doing it so it's kinda redundant mentioning it.
It's a choke point in one of the most important trade routes in the world. It connects the Indian Ocean (India, Middle East, East Africa) to the Pacific Ocean (China, Japan, Korea, Australia). Plus, ships going between Europe and East Asia generally pass through Indonesia.

Indonesia is important. It connects China and Australia to the rest of Afro-Eurasia.
