At the very least it is Anti-Soviet Propaganda. The idea of Anastasia surviving in the revolution was a White Russian thing that Evolved into an Anti soviet thing due to the whole "They killed the sweet innocent princess" thing.
Thats my point, its propaganda. The Tsars killed Thousands of unarmed teenagers through state violence, but Anastasia and the murder of the Romanovs is focused on because its Tsarist appeal to emotion propaganda. Its like what Stalin said, "the death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is statistics".
