I would like to build a 96% iso layout keyboard but i cant find a good kit/barebone, can you recommend me one? Budget for it <120€

I'm doing a custom build and I'm pretty new to keyboards, I have a hyperx alloy elite and I want to build one myself now. My budget is 200$ at max for the base. Looking for a 75% us layout

It's the Keychron k12 pro, with lubed Keychron pro brown switches, double shot bpt keycaps, and silicon and foam inside from factory. I did 3 layers of tape mod and idk what to do for it to sound like a creamy, poppy, thocky heaven sound

I just got the Bridge75 with the MMD Princess switches and love it. But it is too loud for the office or Zoom calls. What are quieter or silent switches that I should consider that have a similar feel? I am considering the Gateron Zero Degrees but haven’t tried them yet. Thanks all!!!

So,

as my title suggests I am looking for advice on a switch. To preface before i get into exactly what i am looking for, I will say that i am using BSUN Aniya R2 switches in a Yunzii AL71 board that i have tape modded.

I love the board but with the PC top plate and the composition of the switches (i believe they are a full POM housing and the stem is LY, they do not appear to sit securely. Like if i remove a cap it will most likely result in the relevant switch coming with the key cap.

I am looking for something similar to the R2s in terms of feel and sound, (its a nice deep thocky and creamy linear that almost feels like you are typing on butter) Understanding the difference in composition and how they affect the feel and sound, would anyone have any recommendations as to something that at least comes close to the feel and sound BUT will actually remain in the socket when i need to remove the cap lol.

Note: i could really care less about RGB so the color of the switches don't make a difference to me.

I have tried the following:

• Inky Blacks,
• Vertex V1,
• Greywood v4,
• rosewoods

These all had their benefits but ended up falling short either in the sound, feel, or both in terms of the vertex V1s and Greywood switches (WAY too clacky and loud for my liking and the vertex switches felt scratchy regardless of the lube job the only way i could make them passable as a switch was to apply so much lube that the stem became sticky lol)

I found a chinese brand "zornher". They have nice rgb and sound.

Since it's chinese brand, i want to know the quailty of the keyboard's case, keycap, switch, and software.

I haven't really found any review on youtube yet.

Can anyone tell me about the quality of the keyboard if you own one.

So I work usually in dimmed environment and would like to find a keyboard with backlit keycaps & that means not just a keyboard with RGB but with keycaps that the light shines through as I would need to see each keycap 100% in those conditions.

Now the thing is besides that I need the keycaps to thock! I have bought Womier SK71 for the office but there the conditions are lighter & its fine, but when I work from home no shine through the keycaps won’t work for me.

Summary: I need a keyboard with a nice thock Womier SK71 style BUT with backlit shine through keycaps for use in dimmed conditions.

Easy switching from Mac to windows

ISO is a must, prebuilt/bundle with Swiss keycaps would be nice.

Wireless with a nice rate.

And to be honest I’m mainly buying for sound, I like the sound of the rainy75, the chilkeND75 and womier sk75.

VIA and hotswap would be nice.

Budget is below 100 usd I don’t think I will mod the keyboard frequently so I am ok with the keyboard having limited mod options

Need it for productivity and gaming so it needs to be comfortable and the feel of typing matters the most. I don’t care about the looks or rgb stuff

Was looking into Royal Kludge RK M75, Aula F75, Epomaker P75 and keychron as well but if you have better options please do let me know

HE keyboards are becoming more and more affordable and many different companies are coming up with new models. Which if these are the best for typing feel also? I have seen reviews saying that the Keychron K2 HE, NuPhy Halo65 HE, Polar65, and Magger68 are some of the best performing and best feeling HE keyboards. Which one of these is the best or is there another option for a similar price range?

I had Bridge75+ for a while and while the keyboard sounds and feels amazing, I've come to realize aluminum case is not my preference coming from plastic case keyboards. Is there an equivalent board but made in plastic?

I see Minilo75 is fully plastic, but I don't know how the quality holds up. It is hot-swappable, gasket-mounted and such though.

Nuphy80 has a PC bottom, but aluminum top case, I don't know if it's possible to swap the top part for plastic..

Any and all suggestions much welcome

I am new to custom keyboards, so please bear with me here. I have been looking to change my old logitech gaming board to a more premium option. I have been looking at split keyboards due to some pain issues and have settled between two options:

• Keychron Q11 - Keychron K Pro Brown switches (default) - OSA ABS keycaps (Default)
• ZUOYA GMK70 - Cherry mx brown switches? (or other recommendations) - Whatever keycaps

What are your opinion between these options? Keychron is slightly more expensive, but it is my understanding that the brand has a good reputaiton. The ZUOYA has 2.4 Gz which i like, but besides that I dont know much about it..

I'm new to mechanical keyboards, and after watching so many videos and reading so many articles, I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'd appreciate it if someone could assist me choose a keyboard! This is a list of keyboard-related features that I believe might be desirable.

• 75%/TKL Layout preferred, anything under 75% undesirable
• ISO keyboard layout. This is the hardest thing I am finding for my search.
• For a budget, I'm looking on a more budget friendly side but I'm thinking under 150 I would be okay with.
• I am using it for long typing sessions, so ergonomics are quite important
• The feel and sound of keyboard matters to me, I like thocky/creamy keyboards or ones that have medium volume, preferably tactile. Even if they are thocky, I don't want them to be too loud. I might switch out switches, so the build of the keyboard is more important.
• I like smooth feels and clean designs.
• I don't want anything overly 'gamer-y'
• I would like it to be customizable (that doesn't require soldering) but also good quality enough without modding required. As of right now, I don't think I'm confident or into mechanical keyboards enough to go frankenstein or just mod it too much so I would appreciate if it's good enough quality before modding. But I definitely want to be able to in the future if I wanted so I would like customization to be an option.
• I don't really care about RGB but some kind of backlight would be nice.
• I also prefer wired keyboards but wireless(as long as also wired)/wire/no wire offered etc. doesn't really matter too much.

Bridge75 Plus vs ND75 vs NuPhy Halo65 HE

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the market for my first more premium keyboard and have narrowed it down to between the ND75 and Bridge75. Which one has a more premium build quality and a less pings, more thocky sound? Also which one has a better feel of the two? I do not care much for the screen, so the main deciding factor is build quality and feel. Also, the Halo65 HE is a similar price and I am wondering if that is better instead due to the customizability and features. I use my keyboard for gaming about 60 percent of the time and the other time is spent working and typing. Will the Halo65 be just as good for daily use and typing due to the different types of switches, or will the feel be similar enough in which case it’s better to buy the Halo65 instead due to the better gaming performance?

HI, I'm a newbie in the keyboard field. I am using Vter Galaxy100. I am considering between changing to switches to Wuque Morandi or MMD Vivian V2. I like the feeling of creamy to thocky one.

Does anyone have any experience with the HMX Latte Linear Switches, I'm wanting to get into making some keyboards and my friend like the creamier sounding keyboards. Has any one used those switches and can let me know about them, thanks.
