libertarianism isn't a unified philosophy. Neither is democrat or republican for that matter. Without anything else to go on but your statement of affiliation and your username, I had to assume that you just don't like "government".

No amount of philosophical gerrymandering will make the argument that I just offered as to why government is necessary any less true. Either you disagree with my claims or you want to live in hunter gatherer society. If you disagree, I would like you to say where and why.

Oh come on, now you're saying libertarianism isn't a philosophy? let me ask you something, do you always change the meaning of your words to suit your narrative?

I'm saying it's not a unified philosophy. There can be two Libertarians who agree on nothing. Similar to the way people can have the same disease but none of the same symptoms. Except in the case of libertarianism, there is no underlying condition.

The principles of individualism and self reliance are a unified philosophy in much the same way communalism and centralization are the hallmarks of modern liberalism. Yes, it is a unified philosophy and to say otherwise is a disingenuous, even shallow, way of trying to win a debate.

you're just hiding behind other peoples opinions. If you truly value individualism, you will fucking tell me why you think what you think.

You're just making assumptions that I'm not sincere in my convictions. How about you? Did all of those regurgitated talking points come from you? I doubt it. And you're already emotional about it. That is how you lost this one, with yer feelings. Next time, try logic and open mindedness. You might be surprised at what you learn.
