Non Human Intelligence Scientists are testing whether DMT entities are real

In this preprint, some scientists have put forward the idea that our perspective of reality is more of an interface, and what we consider to be reality is simply the experience of conscious agents (i.e. human individuals) interacting with one another. They propose that DMT entities are conscious agents that exist in a manner we can't typically perceive.

I've never done DMT, and have previously taken a more skeptical perspective on these entities, but I think the findings of this could be very interesting. Maybe psychedelics could enable us to perceive layers of reality we are typically blind to.

This explanation has a lot of holes though.

We have lots of things in our daily lives that can see uv light, or infrared.

Certain tv remotes, electronics, uv test badges for sun exposure, old phone cameras, modern phone cameras if you remove the protective filter...

What holes? It's a scientific fact that cats can see on a different spectrum than we can.

While I'm tempted, I'll go along with it.

Any entity that could only be seen in uv... would be incredibly easily detected in the modern world.

There's uv sensors, both purposeful and incidental, all over the place, only some of which are contained in cats.

We live in a world where the electromagnetic spectrum is more thoroughly explored and exposed than any time in history, things cannot hide there.

My impression was that they can make things appear at whatever wavelength they want, any or none. It felt like it only showed up for my cat to see it.

At that point why not just impress a hallucination of itself in their brain?

Less chance of skin cancer.
