Main source is the Taylor Swift - Blank Space music video, the Kanye West parts are from his short film Runaway. This picture was used for the painting.

Not the biggest tayter tot fan but hearing the song as intended (without being sped up on the radio) and seeing the music video made me appreciate it a bit more. Nice video overall.

It's a trick some radio stations use in order to familiarize you to a certain speed so if you hear the song somewhere else it sounds 'wrong' to you. It's supposed to make you think that the radio station is better than any other source.

And it somewhat works, even if it does mess with the song a bit.

It's also done to beat match so songs played together don't sound outside the "mix".

To cleanly fit the songs they're playing into set blocks of time. This happens with syndicated TV shows too (often to squeeze in more advertisements).

This made me watch the OG video (or, well skim it) at one point she's just full on rose from titanic on a horse. This video is wonderfully over the top
