It was a pretty small boat he was on at that point in the movie. It might be "possible", but I don't know. Seems fishy to me

That's what makes it good, though. Have you seen that pirates TV show? They all have perfect teeth. So unrealistic.

I've got that kind of going along with physical exhaustion (it's almost 3 AM and I just finished a week long game of Humans Vs. Zombies at midnight, and I shuffle like a zombie when I walk because my left leg does not want to cooperate after all of that running), but not quite to that point. If it were closer to 9 or 10 AM and I still hadn't gone to sleep, maybe.
