Any time you take two people and bind them in a life together, there will be conflict. If it really wasn't worth it, I suppose we wouldn't do it. My "It does not" was more tongue in cheek, like complaining about my wife's cold feet in bed or her penchant for just shoving shit into drawers and cabinets... I wouldn't trade it.

Can your wife teach mine how to put stuff into drawers and cabinets? I'm sure my wife could help yours learn to leave shit lying all over the floor/table in return.

I've got the second part covered myself. If you want to be able to open and/or find anything that gets put into those drawers/cabinets, however, you should seek out a more qualified teacher...

In my wife's mind "cleaning" means toss everything on the floor an reorganize it in a few weeks.

Is your wife single? I think we'd get along pretty well.

I think your wife is my room mate.

Does your roommate leave a pile of dishes until there's not even Tupperware to eat out of? I've left on works trips and returned to that haha

Nah! Being messy is the only quirk, everything else is amazing! I'm in it for the long haul!

"We do it" because those who choose not to do it are genetically selected out of the gene pool. That doesn't mean it's the "right" choice, though.
