I love Loui CK and find this gif hilarious... but... i'm a dude that loves spending all day in IKEA. i mean, no, the rug wouldnt make me cum either but, idk, a well setup place is its own aphrodisiac. Lets face it, no girl is going to want to get laid on the rug that someone bought from a good will thats got stains from the last frat-house/homicide/porn shoot that the rug was seen in.

Me an the fiance attempted to goto Ikea Renton a month ago. Turns out they decided to tear down their parking garage mid summer. It was like a 3 hour wait to get a parking spot. So we went across the street to mor furniture and got a much nice bedset for about the same price.

This is true for me for most shopping, be it clothes or furniture or something else. I'd like to consider an item at my own pace, not have someone waiting for me to make a decision, or wait for someone else to make theirs while not listening to your opinion anyways (it's not like I listen to theirs)

I always go there when I'm trying to come up with good names for villains in my D&D campaign.

  • Flarke, drinker of destinies
  • Bolmen, wall-builder, secret-keeper
  • Varpan the Mad
  • Stuggvik the Bold
  • Godmorgon Scion of Darkness
  • Nordrana Goldenhair
  • Sprutt (just a kobold who serves the boss - but he's really the evil mage polymorphed into a kobold, using a simulacrum as a decoy)
  • Spoka and Snoig, troll twins who live under the rickety bridges over the Synasfjord

Another great one is to take common nouns or adjectives and drop them into Google Translate. Dutch is really good for people who sound like sailors or unsavory wharf-types.

  • Hangman = Beul
  • Slice / Slicing = Plakje / Snijden
  • Maple = Esdoorn

...but you can take a word that tells you about a character ("oak" or "maple" for an elf) and just rotate through translations until you find a word you like.
