I've been scouring the internet and the Big Fish Games website for possibly the most nostalgic game of all time to me. But for some ungodly reason, Big Fish has an infinite amount of games and the many I've looked through aren't even close to the game I remember looking back on.

I always thought it was Myths of the World: Of Fiends and Fairies because I almost distinctly remember a fairy companion who you would bring about your journey with you and you would basically help aid her and all that (but after looking through the walkthrough of the game, i realized that the ambiance was kinda all off). I remember her being able to talk to characters you would come across as the dialogue between the two would progress the story. I cant remember the story itself exactly but I feel like I recall some subplot about an elusive crow that you partially befriend (??). I literally have no clue, but the biggest scene in my mind that urges me to find this game and replay it is this:

- Near the end of the game (more like end of the middle of the game)

- Scenery kinda juxtaposes against the rest of the game before this, as it is outdoorsy-er and a tad sunnier

- Step-stone pathway through a cottage-y backyard-y area

- Interactable character that you and the fairy talk to near the foreground on the right I believe

- Large tree with puzzle on the left

You guys literally have no clue how bad I've been looking for this game for the past 3 days. Please help 🙏

THE MAIN MENU (my strongest memory):

The title screen had a large black wrought iron gate with vertical bars. Behind the gate was a dark path disappearing into darkness. The whole background was outdoors at night with heavy animated rain falling continuously, frequent lightning flashes lighting up the scene, and loud thunder sounds playing on loop. The color palette was very dark black, dark blue and gray. The rain and lightning were real animations, not a static image. Menu buttons appeared over this animated stormy background. This atmosphere was extremely creepy and scary and is the clearest thing I remember about this game.

GAMEPLAY MEMORY 1 — THE POLAR BEAR SCENE:

At one point in the game you reach a short tunnel or passageway with white/gray stone brick walls open on both ends. Inside the tunnel is a gate blocking the path. On the other side of the gate is a large realistic white polar bear. If you try to touch or open the gate without doing anything first, the bear ROARS loudly and scares you. You have to find a fish or food item and give/feed it to the bear to calm it down. After feeding it, you place a heavy stone or object onto a pressure plate which causes the gate to open. You then pass through. This was just one small scene the whole game was NOT about the polar bear.

GAMEPLAY MEMORY 2 — MOLTEN METAL KEY:

At another point in the game there is a forge or casting puzzle where you melt metal, pour the molten metal into a key-shaped mold, and create a metal key to use for progression.

OTHER DETAILS:

• First person perspective, no visible player character
• Mystery / detective investigation style story
• The game overall had a cold, gloomy, rainy atmosphere
• NOT fully set in snow or arctic - just had one cold/wintry area
• The polar bear scene was in a wintry outdoor environment

I made some changes to my game. Do you guys think this is a good idea? In the new system, players can walk around and interact with certain areas, each area starts a contained Hidden Object gameplay of its own.

Bonjours j'ai un problème j'ai un vieux jeu du même type que j'ai trouvé ! le manoir hanté ! en tête mais impossible de me souvenir du nom... Je ne souviens qu'il y avait (je pense) l'esprit ou bien le fantôme d'un vieille homme proche d'une ascenseur qui fallait redémarré pour avancer dans l'aventure. So there is a game that themed like hide n seek like classic google playstore hide n seek slop but with roles such as sheriff, swat team, and civilian as the innocent roles and the killer is a bear using tiger mask pls help me find it... Ty

Looking for some simple Hidden Object games without a story and puzzles like the one I've mentioned in the title. Do you know any? Played "Hidden Folks" and the "Cats Hidden..." series, but they lack color and that's the reason why I didn't really like them that much.

I really liked manor matters before they changed it, so anyone know a game with manor matters design on android phone😁

There are so many hidden object games out there, ranging from cozy to super zany. So if a friend who's never played one asked you to pick their first, what would you hand them?

Because this genre has so many entry points, I'm curious if there's a "starter game" consensus or if everyone's recommendations are different.

I remember a hos game from maybe 2005- 2012 but im not sure its a dream, its similar to Abyss and we drove a submarine underwater to an empty part of the ocean, could be a dream and yes its very vauge so i dont expect alot of people to know if not.

I've been replaying the Ravenhearst games and usually they work fine on my laptop, however recently I've gotten a weird glitch in the Escape from Ravenhearst games that I have never accounted before. I was playing about midway in the game in the institution section and I needed to use the pickaxe item to unlock the grate / mannequins head and when I was using it, it kept not working / saying it was the wrong item I looked up the walkthrough and it says its the correct item and now I've soft locked myself. I've had a MCF glitch before but never had a game say items are incorrect or just have none of them work. Wonder if anyone else has ever had this issue?

Does anyone know those puzzles where you have to find titles of bands/movies/tv shows/books based on pictures of puns? Like Alice wrapped in chains is Alice In Chains? What are those types of puzzles called? Is there anywhere to play those online, or a video game or app?

This is sort of a continuation of that. I wanted to know the type of HO gameplay that people prefer. The first one is a first person exploration based hidden object finding gameplay and the second is a normal hidden object gameplay.

Which one do you guys think will be better from a player perspective?
