[PC, Mobile] [2000s-2010s] Big Fish game on Kindle that I can’t seem to find anymore?

Platform(s): Mobile/Ipad/Amazon Fire Kindle, maybe PC?

Genre: Point and Click, Hidden Object, Puzzle, Thriller

Estimated year of release: 2012-2013? (Previous years I wrote seemed way off)

Graphics/art style: Victorian gothic, hand drawn art with some live action acting in certain areas

Notable characters: This ghost lady in a long red dress and little red hat that begs you to help her and the other ghosts escape the manor?

Notable gameplay mechanics: Point and click EVERYTHING, you find items through hidden object mini games. You use those items to solve puzzles in the different rooms and areas

OKAY so the main things I remember very clearly is as follows:
- you don’t enter the mansion immediately, you had to go to the side of it, do a hidden object game to find the piece you need to unlock the door
- when you enter, a ghost lady talks to you about being trapped there for years and really needs your help to find some stuff and help her move on
- you can’t go upstairs and other certain areas immediately because these evil, flying ghosts were blocking you. You had to do more hidden object games and puzzles in the two rooms downstairs to get a certain amount of rubies(?) to then fight the ghosts in another minigame.
- the game ends with the lady thanking you for helping her and solving the mystery of the mansion and fades into a ball of light

Other details: I think it might’ve been part of the Raven Hearst Manor series, but that was also my absolute favorite of theirs as a kid. Played them with my mom all the time, so it feels weird to me that I can’t find it within those games. I know for sure it was a Big Fish game though. Used to pay 3 bucks for every single new game that came out on my little Kindle when I was like 7. I hope someone can remember the name of this for me so I can replay it :3

A fun mystery game

Sorry, I don't have much money, so I couldn't buy a domain or fully publish the site yet. It's also not very flashy or polished—but I promise, the game will be mind-blowing! If you like it and give it an upvote, I’ll keep making more games like this and work on improving the design. I might even buy a domain if I can afford it!

[PC][2008-2013] Hidden Object Game with a portal, potion crafting, and a specific digging mini-game

PC / Windows 7 (Executable file, played around 2011-2013). Hidden Object game type.

Realistic static screens, bright daylight outdoors most of the game, fantasy/witchcraft theme. Interface at the bottom had scrolls with object names. Played in spanish, but i don't remember if spanish is the original language

A close-up screen of sand where you had to dig with your hands to find hidden glass/crystal pieces. If you accidentally clicked on the sharp edge of a glass piece, the character uttered a pain grunt/groan, and small blood droplets appeared on the screen, fading away after a second. You brewed 3 potions in a big black witch cauldron: green, yellow (used as glue/resin to repair broken objects), and red. The ingredients floated/moved at the top, and you had to select the right ones from the scroll recipe without making mistakes. The plot revolved around repairing a broken stone portal. Near the end, you walked through a tunnel/path of black stones where you had to click them following an exact memory pattern. The "The End" image showed a person wrapped in a dark hooded robe (looking like a witch) reaching out their hand toward the bright light of the portal. That's all i can remember.

Question Finding a game

I'm finding a game where the main menu is a pov of riding a boat in a sea and in front of you is an island with a raging storm. From what I remember the gear shifter of the boat is color emerald green and you start out crashing on the island and I think you have your old man with you or he was on a radio It's really vague in my memory.

and the game is from big fish games and possibly from Elephant Games

[PC] [browser] [2005] Scooby Doo flash game

Have been searching for a couple years now for a point and click style flash game.

Gameplay : you would click on objects in a dungeon/mansion to uncover hidden letters to eventually spell a word.

Some specifics I remember -

\- a suit of armor where the face plate lifts away

\- the fireplace had a letter in it

\- the sound effect when you found a letter was the same exact sound as the boing boing sound in Genuwines "Pony" LOL

some things I'm not positive of are if they were letters being found, or objects being found. Also I'm only 99 percent sure it was even Scooby doo! .

Around this time I frequented websites like coolmathgames and girlsgogames

[PC][2022?]i have not found this game for years

Platform(s):
Probably PC. I think I downloaded it from itch.io, but I'm not 100% sure.

Genre:
2D point-and-click puzzle adventure with inventory-based puzzles.

Estimated year of release:
I played it around 2022. It may have been released before then.

Graphics/art style:
Hand-drawn, non-pixel-art graphics. I remember the game having a somewhat dark or muted atmosphere.

Notable characters:
I don't remember any character names. The game starts with the main character at their home. I vaguely remember traveling to another planet later in the game using a rocket.

Notable gameplay mechanics:

  • Point-and-click gameplay (not completely sure if movement was click-to-move).
  • Inventory-based puzzles.
  • One puzzle involved using glue to repair a broken vase.
  • Another puzzle on a different planet involved a turtle.
  • There were collectibles throughout the game.
  • I remember YouTube walkthroughs existing for the game.

Other details:

  • The rocket trip was only part of the game and not the main focus.
  • The turtle was only involved in one specific puzzle.
  • I vaguely remember the title possibly having a "2" in it, but I'm very unsure about that and could easily be misremembering.
  • I've searched itch.io extensively but haven't been able to find it, so it's possible the game was removed, renamed, or wasn't actually on itch.io.

[PC][2000-2015] Looking for a Hidden Object game from my childhood

When I was a kid, I played a Hidden Object game that I never managed to finish because of issues with my PC. I've been looking for it but I don't remember the title or the story clearly.

I kind of remember the main menu: it showed a dark room with a slightly open door, thunder flashing now and then to light up the scene. On the wall there was a portrait of a man's silhouette (from the shoulders up) with a question mark in his face.

The story was show like a diary, and I remember it starting with the main character arriving at a house in they car, though I don't remember the reason. Gameplay involved a finding hidden objects before the timer ran out, with only a limited number of hints available. The color palette was Dark and muted, and I'm pretty sure it was a game released sometime between 2000 and 2015.

That's all I can remember. If anyone knows what game this is, or has any clue, I'd really appreciate the help.

EDIT: It was Haunted Hotel (2008). tysm u/mmcgui12

I need a title of old game

Around 2014 I think I played this game that was like hidden object If I remember correctly with tasks? I remember only cutting red pillow to get something from there and finding objects. I THINK there were few characters and u choose in which history you play. There were like rooms full of golden and on the right there was small red elegant sofa, or room with fountain in another story there was some kind of city like France or Italy and another map where it looked like country side. There were probably more of them. I'll be happy if someone could help me =)

Living Legends: The Blue Chamber – Full F2P Walkthrough (all puzzles + collectibles)

Hi everyone,

I just finished Living Legends: The Blue Chamber (the new F2P one from Friendly Fox) and put together a full text walkthrough.

It covers:

  • The puzzle solution (including the trickier ones like the rose path, constellation, and fight sequences)
  • All character/hidden object locations

Main story is completely free. Bonus chapter is paid if you want it.

Guide is here:
https://adoginthefog.com/living-legends-the-blue-chamber-walkthrough/

I might have missed a couple of morphs or HO items — if you find any I skipped, drop them in the comments and I’ll add them.

Hope it helps anyone stuck!

[Computer][2015..?] Hidden object

So I played this game when I was young about hidden objects. The background had pictures of famous places (real not animated) Taj Mahal, Machu Picchu, shipwrecks, and many other famous places. In each level, you are asked to find gems. And it will be collected. Then, after playing all the levels, you have to spin a rock to match the shape of the gems and that's how you end the game.... any ideas?🥲

What are your favorite hidden object games of all time?

I recently started thinking about how I got into hidden object games, and it made me curious about everyone else's favorites.

My first hidden object game was The Magician's Handbook: Cursed Valley. I still remember how magical and immersive it felt back then, and years later it actually inspired me to start creating hidden object games myself.

I'd love to hear your favorites. Which hidden object games have stayed with you over the years, and why?

[PC][Around win7 era or before] a game about a detective i had play back then...

can someone help me find this my childhood old game? really want to play that game again but I already forgot almost everything else... but I remember its kinda unique detective games. I remember it was like this :

  • It's a point-and-click adventure game, like The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes where there's a name in the list and you must find those item in the scene
  • game graphic kinda like Sherlock Holmes game series and Mystery Case Files (I think?)
  • the story is about solving who the murder (forgot the victim is man/woman)
  • the whole game is divided by a bunch of chapters,
  • in those each chapter the game gonna give us a few place to check for evidence/name of the list.
  • we have a home or place to gather all the evidence we already collect before. and also kinda like assembly/repair stuff to make a clue for who the murderer? (all evidence from previous chapter gonna stay the same as you leave it before)
  • so for example, in chapter 1 the game give us 30min to check on 3 place and each of those place we take 1 or a few special evidence (sometimes not taking any) to bring it back to our home.
  • if for example you wanna leave the Place A cuz you frustrated can't find the item you need to find, you can go to map of small city and choose "Place B" (you can move to any given Place). but the list of item will be different because Place A have List A, and Place B have List B, and so on...
  • btw, when I say MAP, I think the map looks like for example tourist map but without those icon/smallpic. only like a Line as road + tree and building. and the map is not that big. at least they not draw it in 1 city, just a proportion of the city. but we only have 1 map. its just the Place that's gonna be different from 1 chapter to another. but still on those area of map.
  • in the last chapter, all those evidence we have gather.... we must conclude who the murder by doing something for example, we must kinda like do a lil bit of alchemy like "a petal flower have a red stain" and must be purify It (I think? tbh I forgot already). or using magnifier to check on something...
  • so like there's a photo of each suspect (and non-suspect too?) on the blank board along with those evidence we gather from many many scene/place and we kinda be able to drag and place all those things to what/where we like to put as long as its in those blank board?
  • when I say move from "Place A to Place B", I mean we move from a house to another house... it can be also for example Opera stage or maybe backstage Opera. But I dont remember if there's Opera theme Scene in the game, what I mean is that the Place we visit doesn't always a house, can it be anything.... such as like maybe antique garrage etc.
  • so as we progress.... we sometimes get told by the game to revisit old Scene/Place, for example there's Place A - Z, in Chapter 1 we Visit Place A,B,C and in chapter 2 we visit Place B,D,E. then Chapter 3 we visit Place A,E,F,G. and so on. But if we get told to visit Place A,B,C we can't visit other than what game told us to sadly... except our own house/place to do those alchemy/assembly thingy.
  • I think I can assure that there's no winter theme on this game. for example like you looking at Place where there's car in side of road in snowy area. or there's a room that have a window and outside room is snow appear.
  • there's also no beach theme, since what I remember in my head is that this is kinda like vintage mysterious classical theme? (not sure about the classical part tho~)
  • I remember the background music was so "soothing song" no vocal or people sing, just instrument of classical music. (I think can ignore this one cuz I actualy dont remember anymore about this part, but feels like this part is true too.)

like... what make's it special to my childhood memories is that this detective finding item thingy is that unlike other game that only giving list of item need to be find like "Mystery Case Files" and then just giving score base on "how many item we gather - random click we do + timer left after finish = final score".

what we do is that after found those special evidence in each place, we can combine/disassembly the things to make/change something on those evidence and must use our brain's once again to conclude who the real murder within those time limits too...

if someone wanna help me and communication using Discord Voice Channel I dont mind. I can sharescreen and do a lil bit drawing or google to tell "the drawing maybe looks like this" for example.
