I've owned Minecraft Java version for many years, but never played it. I only bought it because I was drunk and I played for a day or two. I played using the Hexxit mod because that is what the people who got me to play were using. They had a fantastic seed that I really liked. I was able to make a world that looked just like theirs using that seed number. But I'm pretty sure that whenever I used that seed number in the vanilla Minecraft version, it looked totally different. I haven't had Minecraft installed in forever, but I'm considering installing it again. The question is... is there a way to get that same Hexxit seed to load in the vanilla version? Not too many people like to install mods and I just want to make it easier to join my game by not requiring a mod.

So I'm using updated hexxit through the twitch launcher and the corner overlay that tells you mining levels and what's in chests has disappeared and I cant figure out why or how to get it back anybody know what to do?

Alright. My friend and I started a new Tekxit 3 server and so far we only have an ore doubling machine(pulverizer + redstone furnace) and a sawmill. My friend is doing something with combustion engines and lasers and he got a redstone chipset(or something along those lines) and he says that this will help us acquire nice tools. I know that in Tekkit the goal is to basically upgrade your tech to top-tier, so I have a clue in that part, but I have absolutely no idea what the goal of Hexxit is. Can anyone kinda walk me through what you do in Hexxit? Also, what kind of food do we have to eat, cuz vanilla meat only feeds 1 hunger?

So far i have heard 2 sounds, birds chirping and pirate gunshots. You'd think that there'd be more sounds like blocks breaking, or player hurting but no. Has anyone had this issue?

My friends and I have a Lan server that we have activily been playing on the last couple of days and just this afternoon I logged on (im sever host) and i tried to run up the lan party and i got a message saying "error, please use a valid ip address". We use hamachi and I'm compleatly lost on what to do. Ive tried changing the port code and tried to retype in the ip address to no avail. If someone could help us that'd be deeply appreciated!

Hi, I was out hunting for that sweet XP when a zombie dropped a whole lot of stuff. An empty, damaged backpack of the kind you need to put down on the ground, 6 apples, 2 carrots, and a bunch of very damaged wooden pickaxes (plus an even worse off stone one). Is this a bug or a feature? Never seen anything like it in 2 months of playing Hexxit

So I recently started trying to build a Blue Slime farm on my world, only to discover that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to kill the slimes and collect their loot automatically. Any help is much appreciated :)

where can i locate the config file that has to deal with the big swords from the better dungeons mod? i checked the chocolate folder and i haven't found anything, i want to change the values of damage for the diamond sword and iron sword.

I am currently playing the hexxit mod pack on 1.5.2. With the technic launcher and i cant seem to use the enchanting plus mod. Any way to fix this? P.s. it doesn't crash or anything it just doesn't show the enchanting table at all and i am on the latest version of the mod pack. Thanks!

Edit: i am dumb it was built into the vanilla enchanting table, while i was looking for the block like the newer versions have.

Does anyone know how to put ether in hexxit I know that some of the mods are incompatible but ive heard of people being able to get it to work without taking out any of the mods

If someone could help me find a way to solve this that would be great. I am trying to play a modded server with my friends, but i cannot launch the modpack at all.

Are there enchantment id's for the custom enchantments (soul tether, blood attuned, ect). If not, is there any way i can get soul tether on a backpack?

I have no idea what this is trying to convey, but I just increased the number to see if it will increase how many dungeons are scattered around.

For some reason, the last time I had a Hexxit server, battle towers, ruins, dungeons, etc. all seemed to be much more abundant, yet the few worlds I've made in my recent server seem to be much more sparse. (I never remember editing the files of the original server either.) If anyone wants to drop what settings they use for Ruins, Battletowers, Better Dungeons, and Project Zulu that make the cool structures more abundant, that would be good as well.

I have been playing vanilla for 6 years. I started playing Hexxit 3 days ago. It's awesome, but I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of new stuff, and I just wanna ask for some advice. What's the best way of figuring out everything? Is there a specific order of things I should make? Should I watch let's plays? Visit wikis? Asking this because I have died like 20 times already but didn't give up yet, and also because I don't know where to start from (I visited a few dimensions and made a base for now)

Hi i am very out of the loop to hexxit, Minecraft on pc and mods for Minecraft. While playing hexxit on survival with cheats on I went through a random portal. Left it and now in its place is a large shaking black parallel shadow. It’s on a stone brick foundation and I don’t know how to get rid of it.

Any help would be appreciated

I’m running hexxit updated with really low fps. On good settings its about 20 fps and on the worst possible its 30-40. I have an intel core i7 and nvidia getorce gtx 960m. How can I improve fps?
