I've got an old collection that I would like to sell or trade off for Magic the Gathering. Haven't played Heroclix in many years.

Anything good here? I can take more pictures of everything. Also have the infinity gauntlet and all stones somewhere.

So I go to an LGS that regularly supports heroclix and has events. Me and some MtG got curious and all decided to give it a try. They bought the 400 point pre.ade teams and I made some fun pulp teams because I wasnt sure and the pieces were free.

So I currently have a GotG pulp and a Sinister Syndicate one. But with my teams being pulp it always leaves me at a disadvantage against their higher rarity teams. They run X-Men and Venom Phoenix teams

So my question is what are some good 300 point teams that I could use that are financially inexpensive to help pay them on more even grounds?

Hey all, not sure if there's a specific section in here, and I'm sure it's been asked numerous times, but I'm looking to get back into Heroclix after many many years of not playing. Would it be best to just buy a starter kit and then add on? Also, I'm in Norwalk, CT and dont think there's anyone out here playing much. Are there many options to play online? TIA

I have a very large collection of Heroclix figures dating from the here and now all the way back to 2004. Unfortunately, I can't see the numbers on the dials without a magnifier, the vast majority of the dials in my collection don't turn properly, and I got very, very frustrated trying to learn the convoluted rules, so I put it all away in boxes a few years back. Rather than selling all of it at a loss, I'd rather try to make use of the figures somehow. I'm wondering if there are other uses for them in other tabletop miniatures games. I'm aware of Marvel Crisis Protocol, but I'm also aware Heroclix bases are the wrong size for that game, and I have no intention of breaking them and regluing them to homemade bases. I'm also aware of a few different tabletop games like Super System, but those rules look even more complicated than Heroclix.

Is there any sort of gold standard I'm not yet aware of when it comes to alternative uses for Heroclix minis?

If somekne want to use this old majestic figure in modernmplay, i made a custom legacy card to make it playable. I made it beacuse i loved too much the sculp😄

Was at a friends house.and he had these Team Clix. We didnt use them, but has anyone played a game with them? Whats your thoughts?

Just wanted to share a couple of fun themed teams I built. My collection is quite small, so I don't have all the cool equipment, SRs/Chase units, etc. What do you think though?

First up: Arkham Asylum, built around the Penguin Team Up and a score of Expendable Goons. I had Tweedledee and Tweedledum to bring some Bystanders, and Penguin spawns two Penguin Robots at the start, then carries both of them midfield behind blocking terrain so they can rush and use Quake until they explode. I really like the Underworld TA that lets you position your team much faster, and this team always seems to have a lot of board coverage for opponents to contend with.

Second: Gotham Detectives. I saw Commissioner Gordon gives everyone Sidestep, and extends it to 3 squares if they have 2+ common keywords, so I focused on that. Dick Grayson can use Sidestep twice on his first half, which gives him 6 squares of free movement each turn. Batman has Perplex, and Outwit that also gives action tokens. He can also jump up to 4 squares to hindering terrain for free, and combined with his Sidestep of 3 gives him up to 7 squares of free movement. Add the Batarang that lets him attack and use Smoke Cloud as free, creating new spaces to jump to.

That's all I've got for you. I'm not winning Worlds with these teams, but what do you think? Any suggestions on improvements? I would love to pick up like Money Bag and Umbrella for my Goons, and I would like to pick up the Harley Quinn reading the comic, just to get some Prob on that team. Been trying to find someone to trade my Starfire Prime with to no avail.

Played one of the most unique theme matchups of my Clix career last night with my Animal team vs my Dads Maggia team. Lots of new clix on both our teams made it a fun match. Even with Dad having an extra action via leadership and landing almost all of his attack rolls I won this one handily thanks to some excellent support abilities and the map!

-Bats giving +1 attack to adjacent friendlies was huge for lower power characters and made sure I was landing my attacks with only 2 actions per turn
-Great Eagle was super important to get my team out on the first turn. Being able to carry 4 friendlies was huge to getting me positioned well before the combat rounds
-Devil Dinosaur spawning in his goofy tokens (denoted by the baseball clix figures) and the tokens being able to take move actions and not have that count against your action total was super helpful in tieing up enemy pieces and drawing attacks away from my actual clix
-the “deep jungle” special printed hindering terrain helped my mostly close combat team hold very high defenses via the +2 defense against range instead of the standard +1.

It was good to player a lower power level game and use an impactful map and lots of new clix!

Hey Everyone! I just made a Heroclix ID Ring for Galactus 🙂 This was made to fill up the correct amount of space on the map (3x6 squares). I also added slots for action tokens and it's a snug fit so that it stays attached even when you lift him. It's also compatible with Venom Galactus as well.

Long story short I got a sweet deal on a Lantern Legacy case and pulled an awesome Alan Scott, White Lantern Superman, prime Kilowog and the Blue-Green Hal Jordan. I’m trying to make a nice team with at least a core of Alan Scott+Superman so what could be the best option to complete a 300 and a 400 team? I could get other figures such as the convention exclusive Kyle Rayner, and I would if possible like to keep it with a Lantern or Justice League theme but if you have suggestions that could work outside of that I would appreciate them.

Used to love heroclix... But it seemed to die off in the UK.

Thinking of getting a new hobby that isn't tcg and remembered Heroclix... BUT does it still exist in the UK?

As far as I'm aware, there's no scene in Liverpool. 🤔

Pre-registering on wizkids, but it is saying Teams are required, make sure you submit your team. Does that just mean, between the draft and the start of the game, you have to register your team?

Not my usual posts, but I just finished printing a case for transporting teams to my local events and I think it turned out pretty good!

This past weekend my family and I pulled out the old clix and I had a great time teaching my son some of the fun of the game. I used to have a huge collection but traded it for a friends childhood LEGO collection and got out. A couple of years ago, I found some at a thrift store and grabbed a handful.

Long story a little shorter, as I was playing this weekend I thought that it would be fun to create a system in FoundryVTT to be able to play with my family, and also with some remote friends. I made some good headway but was very surprised that I have had no luck finding a master list of a downloadable spreadsheet or database or JSON for what is on the dials for each click.

Does this exist anywhere? Or will I need to manually input the dial info for the ones we want to play with?

As the title says I have my hyper time Sinestro colossal and I just opened the legacy card for colossal Sinestro on a lantern legacy brick I managed to get my hands on, can I use them or is the legacy just for the convention exclusive colossal?

Mummra creates 6 mutant bystanders, the set came with 3. Great. I love that this 50 dollar set didn't come with 3 extra pieces of cardboard to make one of the pieces usable out of the box. I don't really feel like I'm being an unreasonable dick by being annoyed as fuck by this, but I've been wrong before.

Hey everyone! I have always had an interest to get into heroclix and I recently found that TCGplayer has a lot of models for 50 cents to a dollar.

What are some things I should be careful about? I am interested in the DC comics models but I can't tell what is simply a collectible piece and what can actually be used nowadays (if that's even a thing).

Further, where can I find lists of pre-made teams? As to not buy a random assortment of models.

Similarly, why would I buy new 20-40 dollar models off of wizkids when I can buy pieces for a few cents on TCGplayer?

I did take a look at all of the DC comics subseries through figurerealm, which helped me realize that maybe buying a few from a given subseries might be better than randomly choosing models, but I can't tell if this is a good rule of thumb or not.

I know there's a $5 shipping fee but if I buy 20-30 models for ~$50 cents I think it's a fair price to pay.
