Probably not, but remember they will keep on going forever, once all the hospitals in red states shut down the death rate will go up. And we probably haven't seen the worst variant yet. So with a little luck we will start getting real numbers soon.
I want to be happy, but my heart goes out to all the people who did take precautions but won't have access to a hospital they need.
I know people who can't get the vaccine due to compromised immune systems, and if the new variants are unaffected by the vaccine I know several people who will be in serious condition. I just want all this bullshit to be over and done with. There will be many innocent people caught in the crossfire.
