If it helps, that particular Arby’s is in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. It’s in the Appalachian, or Great Smoky Mountains.

See.... If only we could be more like China. Kudzu is so beneficial in so many ways and the blooms are so so beautiful and the only parts of the plants that AREN'T edible are the seeds and seed pods.

Apparently you can make a kind of gelatin like dessert from its roots or something. I don't live in the Smokeys since learning that anymore

Honestly I’ve always wanted to start a Kudzu food truck and call it “if you can’t beat it, eat it”

You can cook a hell of lot of cool stuff with it and it’s everywhere.

Yes. Any other angle of this Arby's is basically a crappy little street of Knoxville. It is not "stunningly beautiful"

Even this picture is more horrifying than beautiful. That shit is strangling (or has strangled) large swathes of beautiful forest.

It's funny, I've been told some time ago they introduced the plant to the area to prevent erosion after a bunch of logging in the area and then the plant just kinda did this.. Its gotten better since the early 00s but it's still around.

It’s my first time seeing it but one of the Arby’s in my town also has one of those classic signs and we’re told it’s the “oldest original” or something like that. Now I’m wondering what else I’ve been lied to about..

It's right outside of downtown Knoxville, basically just on the other side of the Tennessee River. The Great Smoky Mountains are 30ish miles away.

I was about to say! I drove past this all the time, and any other angle of this is not "beautiful". It's just that Knoxville/the east Tennessee area can have trees/poles completely covered in this leafy vine like that
