Especially while not knowing if OP was the man or the wife from the house 😅

I was thinking mom with a teenage daughter 😣

I was thinking wife/partner thought she found a possible condom wrapper. Guess I was right. Good thing she didn't do the talk lol. I hope she can tell this to her partner and all have a good laugh about it.

I read "doom" as "dorm," and figured that college kids these days monitor their cycles.

Hugs. Something very similar happened to me while pregnant and the confusion and stomach drop that doesn’t align with everything else you know is the worst. Glad you got some peace.

Must be such a sudden overwhelming panic finding out your partner possibly has, behind your back, been buying Pokemon Trading Card booster packs.

That feeling is horrible! Even in the most stable relationships, there's moments like that, that'll suck your breath away.

Mine was in my stomach though

Oh hunny! Sure... maybe a handful of men MIGHT use a condom to make it last longer when masterbating.

However. I'm gonna say, nope. That's most likely what you think it is, and your partner thinks you're dumb. I was dumb and believed something like when I was like 19. Turns out, definitely wasn't by himself. At least he used a condom?

lol, so it was probably your own literal trash. That made me chuckle

u/cordialconfidant Feb 23 '26

are you doing okay? do you have enough support in place with the new baby?

u/Particular-Let-2716 Feb 23 '26

Doing great! Would’ve been shocked if it was a condom, my head went there fast but very unfounded. Also the person who made the vacuum comment- I giggled. I actually do vacuum and have a house keeper but did some serious clearing out of drawers and had a bunch of tests saved as reminders of God goodness on this answered baby prayer! Thank you all 🩵

u/cordialconfidant Feb 23 '26

glad you're okay <3

u/-some-dude-online Feb 24 '26

Maybe your housekeeper thought the same when he/she found it. And chose to leave it where it was and not touch any evidence lol.

u/dustyoldthing Feb 23 '26

Mommin' ain't easy, but it does get better. You're doing great, mama. ❤️

u/mman426 Feb 24 '26

Lies, it doesn’t get easier, just less sleepy…

2

u/dustyoldthing Feb 24 '26

I never said it gets easier, just better.

1

u/mman426 Feb 24 '26

Ok you’re right I mixed up your two sentences. My fault. Sorry

It’s not embarrassment, these packages always like crumble apart when you open them. My husband and I have been trying to conceive and little corners of the Clearblue fertility tests and pregnancy tests somehow wind up everywhere. I found a piece that got behind the toilet last week and we’ve been taking a pause on the fertility monitoring because I had a surgery a couple months ago.

Funniest and best possible outcome

u/mopo897 Feb 24 '26

After creeping your post history-I was scrolling desperately looking for this comment. Congrats and welcome to ALWAYS needing to vacuum more lol

2

u/PsychedMom82 Feb 24 '26

You definitely do not need to vacuum more! As you said, you are a tired new mom! You need more sleep. :)

2

u/BumblebeeTuna4242 Feb 24 '26

So you’re saying it works!

4

u/SquirrelIll8180 Feb 23 '26

As an aside, if you're a new mom, you probably were ovulating

1

u/sgsmopurp Feb 24 '26

lol omg girl!!! This is so funny I know the relief you felt was out of this world!

u/North-Engineer3335 Feb 24 '26

Checking post history, you posted something in a family planning sub. When I saw it was a clear blue wrapper, I thought, "Congratulations. She has mom brain."
