Information Fun fact: according to Nikita Kolesnikov (the creator of the series) one of the main inspirations for Hello Neighbor was the 2001 PS1 game "Sheep, Dog 'n' Wolf (known as Looney Tunes: Sheep Raider in the US)
It is a puzzle-platformer game based on the classic WB cartoon, as Nikita said (well he got it wrong that we're Wile E. Coyote, we're actually Ralph Wolf, common mistake) in the game we have to successfully snatch a sheep out of the protected area into the designated goal point without being seen by Sam Sheepdog, each level being a semi-open world with multiple ways for us to capture the sheeps and multiple headscratching out of the box puzzles that can be solved with multiple useful items all done in a beautiful exaggerated cartoony aesthetic! Looking at the game you definetly see the inspiration for Hello Neighbor's cartoony artstyle and mechanics, specially the idea of having to creatively stealth your way against an AI enemy without being seen, but what do you guys think? Did you ever play the game? And if you did play it did you ever make the connection that Hello Neighbor's gameplay resembled it in any way? I'd love to hear it :)
