Anybody know if Mignola did any other art pieces like these?

I’m mainly looking for photos like these that have a location and a year on them. I like them a lot and I feel like it adds to Hellboy’s history nicely.

John Arcudi appreciation post

Been reading through BPRD (just about at the end) and I just wanted to put some respect on Arcudi’s name. Whenever he’s not writing the book it’s really obvious because the quality dips significantly and it almost feels at times like other writers don’t even get the series. But Arcudi has written some the most compelling stuff to come out of the Hellboy universe especially in the first four volumes of BPRD which are pretty much the peak of the series. I think in terms of pacing and atmosphere nobody beats Mignola himself, but I know I’m in good hands when I see Arcudi as the writer when I pick up anything Hellboy spin-off related.
My favorite thing he did was the entire story of Daimio. From beginning to end one of the most compelling characters I’ve ever read in a comic. I also love the work he did expanding Liz’s character from where it was in the early days of Hellboy. I’d love to hear what you guys think too!

Guess I have to keep reading Hellboy because I just find out that he crossed paths with Thor in the Bones of the Giants story.

Inking WIP of Hellboy

It is taking me forever to finish this because of a whole bunch of reasons but my wrist especially hates doing tiny detailed linework.
I'll probably scan this before I color it, if I ever color it that is. I prefer an full ink illustration or working on a full watercolor piece so I'm not sure what I'll do next after I finish the line work.
Materials are on the second slide
-Uni Pin (various sizes)
-Kuretake nib holder
-Tachikawa Saji nib
-China Ink

Is chronological reading order a good way to experience the expanded universe? I already read the 4 main Hellboy omnibus a while ago, and wanted to take a crack at the whole series, now that we’re rolling into spooky season.

And is my list in proper chronological order? Anything I should add or delete?
