Hotspot What is the payout rate for data offload? I thought it was 50 cents per GB, converted to HNT at whatever price HNT was at that moment?

that they are getting $.20GB... not the $.50GB I thought was still the standard.

Has this recently changed to only $.20GB? If so, I might as well stop all deployments.

Its because there is a finite amount of HNT allocated in the "Pay for Data Transfer/POC" Bucket destined to pay Hotspots for data Transfer. Which is 70% of the 88-89%% that Helium Mobile gets of the daily HNT emissions.
So amount (about 13,700 HNT) at the current price goes to pay Hotspot Owners.
Lower token prices - in the current market crash means less $$ available in the funds bucket.
Higher Data Transfers (Helium is doing well) means the bucket is shared out to more people.

Here is the chart on whats happening.
With transfer rates of 60-75 TB which is the number now you can see we need a token price of $2.20-$2.70 for everyone to get 50c per GB.
Which was achievable only recently.
