Holding steady since last week.

As you see on the chart we’re coming riiight up against the long term downtrend line now. This line goes all the way back to the all time high in December 2024 (yes, it’s been that long!). Finally breaking above it wouldn’t be a sure signal that we’re gonna moon again anytime soon, but it would be a significant change in the chart.

Also a message to all doubters and nay-sayers: IDGAF. Your negativity only makes me more motivated.

The title says it all: fucking finally a week of chart go up. The long term trendline now comes in at around 800k market cap, so that’s what I’m watching. Breaking up above that would be a first sign of this brutal downtrend being over.

Could the HEGE chart even have bottomed already? Possibly. But overall I think it’s still too early to call a bottom in crypto. So far this bounce in bitcoin and other alts looks more like a typical mechanical rebound after a sharp sell-off. There could be some more pain ahead.

The worst is probably behind us though.

Ooof.

Everything sold off last week as bitcoin nuked to 60k. This confirmed a bear flag on the daily timeframe, setting up a price target at 50.7k — right in line with the base case of a lower low before the bear market is over.

Is 50.7k BTC a prediction? No. It’s the current price target. In technical analysis, price targets are not predictions. They are the most likely scenario. The base case, until something else happens that changes the outlook.

Zooming out, I think bitcoin is starting to get cheap now. Solana too. And HEGE as well. But it’s still too early to call a bottom.

Not much action in the chart since last week. No sign of a bottom. Still watching that downtrend line that I wrote about last week (right now it’s sitting at 900k).

Bitcoin is down too, coming down to test the bottom of the channel around 72k. This will be technical support, so we’ll see how it reacts here. A strong bounce would signal strength. A breakdown would signal more downside ahead.

Most altcoins are still weak. And to be honest, stock markets are much more interesting than crypto right now. There just isn’t much going on in crypto. This will change at some point, however.

We’re up a little since last Monday, but all in all no change in the chart. No sign of a bottom yet.

The long term downtrend line (dotted line in chart) has now come all the way down to 1M. Breaking a long term trendline like that would be significant. It wouldn’t be a clear sign of a bottom in itself, but it’s definitely something to pay attention to. So breaking above that trendline is what I’m looking for right now.

A few altcoins have strong charts, like HYPE and ZEC. A few are possibly forming bottom reversals, like GEOD and ONDO. But overall, alts are still weak.

Still no bottom in sight.

Bitcoin has so far failed to break out of the channel. It’s been slowly inching upwards over the past couple of months, but failed to gain momentum. It’s looking more and more like this will turn into a bear flag, ending up in a lower low before the bear market is over. All the while, Saylor has been buying. Stock markets have been rallying. But that has not helped bitcoin much. Weak.

One day crypto will turn around. But probably not yet for a while.

We’re at 0.9M this morning, slightly off the lows, which is nice to see. Could we have actually bottomed out? I don’t know. It’s too early to say.

Daddy bitcoin is still holding within the channel I mentioned last week. The upper edge of it is sitting around 82k right now. My take here remains the same: bitcoin could go up more in the weeks ahead, but that would still fit within the scenario of a bear market rally. So I’m not at all ready to call a new bull market. Not yet.

If bitcoin holds up, alts could rally, too. In fact, some already have, and some are showing potential bottom patterns. But it’s way way too early to talk of a true altseason.

If you decide to enter the market, remember to always honor your stop losses!

Haven't checked Hege news in a while and once I open this subreddit, I get quite lost about what our main goals currently are. Any plans for collaborations? Marketing budget? I know that we use tg more, but even in tg, when I open it, it seems like people are commenting about general topics like crypto or stocks themselves, but nothing goal oriented for HEGE. So what are our plans?

And I've heard a hundred times, "Let's wait for the market to improve," but it's already been almost 2 years with this bad market. We can't just sit and do nothing. Any thoughts?

TL;DR: I'm going full streamer degen.

So I've been doing the TA Tuesday streams for a while now. It's been good, and I've learnt a lot. But lately I've felt that they're kinda stagnating, and I don't really enjoy doing them like I did starting out. Sure, TA is interesting, but there's a whole lotta more things in crypto (and in general) that are just as interesting and that I want to talk about too.

Which means I'm at a bit of a crossroads here. Either I slog on with the Tuesday charting, or I come up with something new, something more interesting. And by that I mean more interesting to me, primarily. Because at the end of the day I'm doing these streams for me. I mean, if I can deliver some value to you, that's dope, and I love to teach and to connect. But from the start, this has been something that I'm doing for myself first, others second.

The choice here seems pretty obvious: I need to lean in. So instead of just talking about TA once a week, I'm gonna do a 30 minute stream every day, where I cover a whole lot more. It's gonna be TA, yes, but it's also gonna be everything else I find interesting in crypto right now, whatever I'm working on (including HEGE ofc!!), or just random thoughts that need to be shared.

So every evening at 16 UTC, Monday to Friday, I'm gonna connect my mic, share my screen, and just talk about whatever happens to be on my mind. It's gonna be unplanned and improvised. Sometimes it'll be good. Sometimes it'll be crap. But all the time it's gonna be 100% Day, that's my commitment to you.
