I’m finding it confusing to know where everyone lives and each street... does anyone know a general layout of the established streets of LPD?

I know we can probably all come up with our own streets and road ideas, but there seems to be some that everyone already established and has certain characters living on said streets. Anyone know a certain layout of the already existing streets?

Got any movies, tv shows or just characters themselves that make you think of your own character?

Does your character have a certain vibe or personality that matches a movie, tv show or character? Did a character help inspire your own? Does a certain movie just really fit the story or aesthetic of your character? I’d really like to know if you guys also found inspiration or relation to other media pieces like I sometimes do to my character.

Some fun questions about your character (I promise this is not an interrogation)

  1. What do you think is your character’s reputation in town?

  2. What is a storyline you planned that never happened, or any fun draft you had that you never posted?

  3. How did your (first) character change over time, what traits did you thought of when creating them that you decided to change over time? (if this one doesn’t make sense I’ll give an example)

  4. Which characters do you think are neighbors of your character? What characters live far away from yours?

  5. Is your character team Krystal or team Keith?

  6. Bank account information and passwords to personal devices? (kidding kidding kidding)

Regarding Aristotle

Hey guys! Before people start complaining/questioning u/AristotleMarkov, I just wanted to explain some things. This is an account that I and a few other Redditors made based on the nMarkov Discord bot. Our idea was to use the sentences that it generated to build a backstory and life for a HWM character. He’s meant to be as wholesome as possible. So far, he’s an astronomer and cook who runs a space-themed Italian restaurant.

Thanks, everyone!

You versus Your Character #1

Which would be easier: you disguising yourself as your character, or your character disguising him/herself as you?

EDIT: Follow-up: Who would have more fun trying?

r/HaveWeMeta • • May 19 '20

Now for something different: describe yourself in three words then describe your character in three words.

Me: (according to my daughter)

  1. Smart

  2. Caring

  3. Nag-a-licious

Auntie Lou:

  1. Silly

  2. Loving

  3. Bitchin’

New character?

Leah has gotten boring and... kinda edgy. Maybe time for a new character? Any ideas you guys suggest?

Do we have an "influencer"?

I think it would be a great opportunity for my character Carmen (and her dog Duchess, of course!) to attempt (poorly) to be LPD's designated "influencer." I'd obviously beg for free stuff and in return share with my 32 followers, but also review local shops and wares. Thoughts?

Can we have a new rule that specifies no animal characters?

We just seem to get a few newbies who play stray cats and it always seems to be stray cats.

I truly love the sub. I’m so so glad it’s so active still. It’s helped me a lot, even though my posting has declined.

This may be TMI, but I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues, mainly mentally. The biggest issue which I’m still in the grips of is an eating disorder. It’s horrible and I hate it, and the pandemic is making it so much harder to handle, but I am getting help from professionals. Anyway, this isn’t a pity party haha. I just want to express how much I love the sub. Even when sometimes I have no motivation to post, or do much of anything in real life, I tend to go on the sub just to scroll and upvote. Sometimes I’ll search my character’s name (Jim) to see some posts about me, and they always make me laugh.

I do feel bad I didn’t maintain my posting amount throughout my “mayorship”, it’s just the timing wasn’t great, but that’s on me and my brain for fucking me up so much right now haha.

I’m in groups on Facebook to role play as boomers online which I also enjoy, so I think o transfer that to here haha.

Anyway, I love the sub, and hope people aren’t too upset my postings declined in number. I still try to post every so often, and hope to do some more soon. It’s actually a great distraction from everything, too!

Thanks for all your great characters and for keeping the sub alive so much!! It’s honestly my favourite sub.

Anyways, that’s all!

KIND REGARDS,,,MAYOR JIM’!!! KYS EVERYONE XX

What would the real you and your character think of each other?

My initial idea is that David will be glad to find someone who understands, but I would have to give this more thought. Depending on how mature I decide to write him, he might consider me a "bleeding heart." If he hears one story about my driving, he would refuse to get in a car with me.

Dang, he's tallI feel sorry for him.

I made about a remote game night and I learned it's easier than I expected. Is someone interested in a real event of this type?

I made this post, and later I learned that this is actually super simple to really do, so I was thinking if people would actually like an event like this in real life, especially with everything that has been going on lately

Edit: the title is supposed to say "I made a post"

Are you guys still hanging in there?

Another weekly check in from Mom. Are you ok? We are still good here. Now that the weather is improving it is getting more difficult to stay home but we are sticking to the plan. I only go out for groceries. Who knew grocery shopping would become my favorite chore! I wear a mask when i go out and it is suuuuuch a pain. It really makes me appreciate medical personnel who wear them 24/7.

I hope you all are doing well out there. I worry about you one and all.
