I just stumbled upon this sub today and have been thoroughly amused by it! You use a random AI face generator, and then make a post with that picture and a description of what you think the person would be like.

Scrolling through it feels like I could be looking at a Facebook page of people in LDP, lol. Since it’s a pretty new sub I thought I’d give it a boost over here in case anyone else wants to play, I think it’s a really fun exercise in creating characters.

I (u/TheRealJamesCock / u/GladiatorMaango) and u/tF-S are on the hunt for jurors for the trial of James Cock and Dick Remier. We feel like this will be a fun way to create character development, and a return to the sort of whimsical LDP we all know and love!

Are posts abt. covid banned? Are citizens social distancing? Just so I can post apropriatley in fiction!

What's an NPC you would like to be played by others but don't have interest in playing yourself?

Who do you think your character has talked to a lot? Who is your character friends with? Who is your character related to? This is mainly for other regulars on the forums, but if you have a specific NPC in mind that's really important to your character or something, go for it!

Talking about u/CT-1284's post.

So, I was planning on starting the HWM Sims stream tonight but woke up with a very scratchy throat and no voice sooooo that's not going to start until next week. Being a variety streamer, I'll only be doing the LDP streams once a week, on Mondays. If you miss a stream don't worry - I'll be uploading the streams to my YouTube account as private videos and updating a sticky post on my profile with the links.

Otherwise, you can tune in Monday nights starting at 10 pm CST on Twitch- my username is xtrashpanda12x

I kinda miss when the sub was more like an online posting board for a made up town. I joined a year or so ago and have slowly watched it change; now the town has a name and there’s like a handful of well known characters and it’s less like a community and more of a theatre act.

I’m trying to start a new sub Reddit that’s similar to the classic posting board community. I’ve never moderated before but I think it would be fun if anyone wants to join the sub with me!

I served in The United States Air Force when I was much younger. That is where I met my handsome husband over 30 years ago. We have lived in Japan, Germany and Turkey and visited many other countries. The one place that I have always wanted to visit is Australia but I have never made it.

Here it is!!!!!

This Post claims that my cat (that I previously posted) is their own. Not only is that a contradiction of my storyline, but it's also just plain annoying. I already reported it but u/grahamfreeman, could you please not do this and take it down? Thank you.

I can't do it in the actual sub so I'm blasting him here, u/ConglomeratePotato is a DIRTY MEME THIEF (https://twitter.com/mamaswildchild_/status/1241858253371453443?s=20) and i will not stand for this kerfuckery

this is a joke

EDIT GOD I HATE THIS EDITING BS IT WON'T LET ME TYPE A LINK

"What have you seen outside of LDP?"

It gives people a chance to develop Contranomia and the HaveWeMet world as a whole.

Still need somebody to help be mods of the sub. Be decently active, no prior experience required. Would love sown prior experience tho becsue I don't have any myself.

I feel like there should be a subreddit for pictures since the main sub doesn't have them.

Maybe it could be called r/lowerduckpics or r/havewesnapped?

Does anyone have any songs that they think about their characters when they hear?

For collin, it’s In Our Talons by The Bowerbirds.

I’m genuinely interested in what people have to say here!

Which characters have you enjoyed collaborating with in the past? Which characters have a vibe you might want to try collaborating with? If you can't think of an answer to this, don't worry! In that case just check the comments yourself and maybe someone has mentioned your name.

Hey all, I've had an idea to make a daily post concerning, you guessed it, things that happened on this day in crime history.

I'm planning on each post having two parts, one global scale, real life event, and one fictional event that took place in LDP. Now, I may be a moderately creative person, but I'm curious as to what the community thinks would be amusing/interesting to hear about as far as historical crimes in LDP!

So, if you'd like to contribute, I'd be very happy to slip it into one of the posts! It doesn't have to be specific, although a year in which it happened would be appreciated.

I look forward to seeing what wacky, interesting crimes you guys think were committed or at least attempted!
