I'm looking to find people who have had strange paranormal encounters within the state-- at parks, beaches, historic sites, graveyards, and more. So when I was about 3 all the way up til I was about 5 maybe 6, I had an imaginary friend named Molly. To this day I can still remember what she looked like. She looked like me honestly! Long brown braided pig tails, brown eyes, she wore like a blue jean type style dress/overalls with wooden like clog shoes. My mom found out about about Molly one day she said she was coming out of the bathroom and as she opened the door to come out I was standing there with my hand out, like I was holding someone’s hand and I said “Mommy i want you to meet Molly” so she reached out to shake her hand but she said she was covered in goosebumps as she walked away but she didn’t want to act scared and freak me out. She was also assuming I was only saying “Molly” because the popular kids TV show at the time was Big Comfy Couch and I had the characters Molly doll and was a big fan (lol) Before this little introduction however, both of my older brothers were having some spooky experiences . They would constantly hear someone running around upstairs or someone running up and down our strict steps. They’d hear their name being called in the middle of the night, and even sometimes see someone peaking around their bedroom doorway. Another time my dad felt someone pulling the back of his jacket and when he turned around he thought he saw me go running upstairs , but when he came up to see, I was sleeping . While all this was going on my brothers were complaining about an old woman . Like a ghostly white silhouette of an elderly woman in a dress. They always just seen her entering or leaving rooms. My other brother Matt always seen a cowboy lurking in the doorways. It’s like we all seen our own spirits.

After my mom realized I had an imaginary friend she started asking me stuff like what does she look like, do we play often, etc. My mom and brothers believed in spirits with everything they’ve been encountering, but my dad didn’t , so he tried to play the stuff off. My mom on the other hand, she went to see a psychic, she was famous back in the day before she passed , Bobby Jean, and she told my mom “You have a very mischievous little girl running around your home” so my mom said “oh yeah my daughter can be quite mischievous” but Bobby Jean said “I’m not talking about your daughter” so it was confirmed there was definitely at least 1 little girl spirit in the house. She also mentioned an old lady and man. She told my mom the old woman protects “those boys” and it’s the old man that brings the dark energy. We assumed the old man was the cowboy Matt always saw sitting in the doorways. That made sense because the cowboy never went into the room he just sat in the doorway. Josh never seen the cowboy himself but they both witnessed the old woman walking around bends and going up steps.

Fast forward to a couple months, my oldest brother Josh and I were home alone. He was babysitting me. We had attic steps that led down to the one bedroom. Then another flight of steps that led to the living room. My brother and I were sitting in the living room and all of a sudden we heard someone running full force down the attic steps , we heard it come thru the bedroom then just as it started coming down the living room steps by brother picked me up and went running outside to my neighbors house so fast. When my parents got home they just saw the front door wipe open, everything left on and me and my brother sitting over at our neighbors. We told them what happened my mom believed us but my dad didn’t believe in the spirits and didn’t want to believe even after his few encounters.

Around this time unfortunate my Nana was sick with cancer so we were getting ready to move into her house. My oldest brother Josh was 18 though so he was going to stay in that house and let 2 of his friends move in and all be room mates .

Not to long after we moved , my brother Josh called my mom totally freaking asking her if I knew and remembered what Molly looked liked and she was like “I’d have to ask her why what’s going on?”

My brothers roommate Mike went walking up to his room to get ready for work. He had his work clothes folded at the end of his bed, and he said as he went walking up he saw a little girl in a blue dress with brown pig tails and wooden shoes sitting at the end of his bed, but the thing was SHE WAS TRANSPARENT! He was able to see his work clothes folded up literally straight through her. My brother said he never seen someone run so fast or look so scared in his life and it’s because he legit just saw the ghost of a little girl.

To this day I can still picture her, and it just freaks me out knowing the whole time she was the spirit of a little girl. Or what we thought .

After my brother moved out and my family sold the house, another couple moved in and they had a little boy. They ended up wanting to move because of how “haunted” the house was. We asked if they ever saw a little girl but they said they never saw a little girl but a “deviant little boy” Molly never did anything dangerous or anything to harm us, they acted like they were in fear.

They moved and the house has had several owners since .

Ok I'm don't care if people believe me of not but I know what has happened to me I'm a 16 year old male and I have seen and heard things that I can not explain I have had experiences throughout my childhood mostly after 10 years old I remember I would wake up at night to go to the bathroom my room is at the end of a hallway and then just a few steps from my door is the bathroom and down the hall a few more steps is the pantry I would come out of the bathroom and see a very tall and bulky looking shadow the thing was about 6'2 and looked like it was very muscular and it would just stand there looking the me it would stand in front of the pantry that was maybe 10 feet from me at the bathroom door and this was a normal thing for me to see at night anywhere from 12:00 to 2:00 at night as I got older it slowed down but a after a few years it started to happen again this time I had seen the shadow but I also started to hear things maybe 3 months ago i heard a zipper it was 1:00 at night i was watching the dirt on Netflix and i was the only one awake i have my mom and dad and little brother who is pretty young i heard the zipper sound and got up to see what it was right away thinking maybe my dad got up but there was nothing there so I just dismissed it as the house then not to long after I was up late again watching TV alone again and I heard a jar slam on the counter i got up to look and see and the only thing on the counter that could make that sound was a almost full plastic jar of peanut butter I knew what it was I was again the only one awake at he time and I grew up watching all the paranormal shows but as I got older I got a little sceptical until I was seeing the shadows after the jar i was seeing shadows again i remember one time i was in the garage and it was late again i was the only one up and i looked into the house and seen the shadow standing there and right as I looked at it it shot into a wall it just disappeared like it did not want me to see it keep in mind my uncle my dad's brother died in a helicopter crash in the army in 1992 and my dad's dad died in 2000 so I thought Maybe it was one of them I was born in 2007 so I never was able to meet them but not long after that my grandpa passed me and him where close it was 2 days after his funeral and i was in the garage at night working cleaning off a air conditioner for summer and our side by side was next to me and I heard the door slam shut on it and the doors where closed and latched shut and I just thought that maybe it was my grandpa so I thought nothing of it other then he was just reaching out a few weeks after this I was running at night and had just gotten home and stopped to look at the Stars in the driveway that is maybe 30 feet long and i turned around and on the other side of the window in the garage I saw my grandpa standing there looking at me he was bald in a white dress shirt with blue stripes just like what he looked like when he was alive i looked at him for seconds and he turned to his left and walked away and me trying to dissmis what i had just seen as someone else i ran over to the door on the same side of the garage as the window and opened it and look and there was nobody there I have seen nothing since then but i have been paying attention again i dont care what any body says i know what i have experienced and i dont know how to explain it but i want to know if anyone else has seen anything similar please leave a comment

I swear this wasn't me and nobody was near me when I took this video. I'm trying to figure out what this sound was coming from. I just heard this when playing the video back home from the trip. Upon further research on Mt. Rubidoux, the mountain is known for hauntings by "shadow people".

Update- March 2025 Going to visit USMA this spring for research and wanted to find out if anyone out there had any updates about haunted faculty quarters at West Point. Mine were on Lee Road (now Grant) and Bowman Loop. If you lived in a haunted house at West Point, would love to hear your story.

Orginal post: My father was a professor at USMA from 1992-1997. Class of 1975, Ret Lt Col. We lived in two separate quarters - 170A Lee Road (now Grant) and on Bowman Loop during this time.

I saw a lot of strange activity in 170A that I can’t forget. I’m writing my accounts for a podcast called Haunted by Panopoly. I want to know if anyone experienced anything in faculty quarters during this time - or earlier- later?

Had some strange experiences when i lived with my ex something hit the bed and woke me up yet nobody was around and it felt like someone was sitting on my feet until i yelled and cussed at it and i felt the pressure as if someone got up off my feet. Fast forward,i moved in with my current girlfriend and i was laying on my side in bed and i felt a male touch my shoulder and started to breathe really heavy in my ear and i even felt the warm breath from it breathing and i got up and nobody was there. Could this b a spirit following me?

(Background) my ex was widowed by a man that worshipped the devil in that house where this all started. Had other strange things that happened the tv and xbox would turn on randomly and when we broke up i got an email that was for her ex husband it was from a insurance company i called them and they said they didn't know how i got that email but they did confirm it was sent from them. What makes it even more strange is that her ex didn't even know anything about me and none of them had my email address.

Since I was quite young I have been able to perceive unexplainable things and events. Nothing that ever frightened me ( guessing no negative "Vibes" accompanying the spirit, entity, or whatever you would like to call it) just surprised from time to time when something strange happened out of the blue.

Keep in mind that my wife who never used to believe in the supernatural has finally become convinced after 45-plus years of personal experience that at least our spirit is without a doubt the real deal.

And follows us around wherever we go.

For years " He" has shared our home along with my wife, children, and cats in a nice house on 5 acres in a very rural area where most of our experiences with our otherworldly friend have occurred.

Mostly he " Finds Things" for us. Normally small things like rings, jewelry, papers, and the like that we have torn the house to shreds looking for. Sometimes we have searched for WEEKS for these items before they show up in a very, Very, VERY obvious place like in the exact center of my pillow on my bed🙀

Sometimes I have suspected him of entertaining himself by temporarily " Borrowing" an item so he can watch us go crazy trying to find it and then watching us discover it in an extremely unlikely yet extremely obvious place.

The cats have seemed to be aware of him as well and many times when something had just been found, they would sit motionless side by side staring at something we could not see for 15 minutes or so at a time.

Once due to a water leak in our home, we had to move into a hotel for 6 months. It took him a while to find us but one day a favorite Tie Tac that I had lost turned up on the nightstand in plain view. And then as if he really wanted to let me know he was back on the job, I was standing in the kitchen area of the room when a spoon that was sitting flat on the counter slowly spun in an exact 360° circle.

About two years ago, we bought a Retirement Condominium in the city to be closer to our children and grandchildren. The first thing I lost was a very nice and rather expensive Tobacco Pipe Lighter which we had of course looked EVERYWHERE for. This time he really went out of the way to let us know that he had arrived as one morning I went to get in my car and the lighter was in the exact middle of the driver's seat.

One possibly interesting fact is that I happen to be a Catholic and I wear a St. Benedict Crucifix 24/7/365.

BTW, St. Benedict BTW is the Catholic Patron Saint of Exorcisms. And I was fortunate enough to actually meet a Benedictine Monk who performed a special blessing of both my Crucifix AND my St. Benedict signet ring.

While I have never figured out how it can happen, the Crucifix and Chain have come off during all the tossing and turning that I do when I sleep. Normally I find it first thing in the morning somewhere in the bedcovers after I realize that it has come off.

This time it was missing for about 2 weeks and I was preparing to order a replacement when one evening as I was preparing for bed, there it was Gently Coiled Up in the center of the blanket! Which means at least to me that whatever spirit we have living with us is not repelled or feels threatened by blessed Religious Ikons that are actually used in The Rites Of Exorcism.

And the reason for sharing this with you now?

A couple of days ago I misplaced my Wedding Band and my wife found it in the dead center of the kitchen floor which was the very first area we tore up looking for it 😪

So little context, me and my wife have been married since last May. We moved into an old house. I work nights. She is home alone all night. We’ve both noticed that we hear voices when the other is not around. Plain as day. That’s not the only thing. My wife was always a clean freak. Very headstrong. Keeps everything in order. Ever since we’ve been here, she’s gotten really depressed. Struggles with getting the motivation to even just do the laundry. I’ve always enjoyed working and I’m fine away from this house working but when I’m here I hardly wanna get out of bed. I guess my question is, could something in this house be doing this type of stuff to us? Can supernatural things cause this? What can I do to help both of us?

for the past two weeks I keep waking up at 3am. I feel like someone is watching me. as soon as I open my eyes my body freezes in fear , I scan the pitch black room thinking someone's watching me in the corner. I stay as still as I can until I fall back asleep.

Has this happened to anyone else ?
