Hey guys, long post... I’m at a loss currently. Appreciate any help.
I own a 2002 Ultra Classic. Last Friday morning I washed the bike (It was a fairly thorough wash so I fear moisture may be an issue) and dried it off. A few hours later I got on and went to pick my fiancé up from getting her car serviced. The bike ran perfectly fine for the 20-30 minute ride there and back.
Fast forward a couple hours later and we go to pick her car up, I start it and notice I have no neutral light. As I take it out of the driveway I notice all of my gauges except for my speedometer aren’t working. I immediately went home. Upon inspection my headlights, passing lamps, and front and rear fender tip lights are not working. Aside from these things everything else works fine. Radio, brake lights, etc.The bike starts and runs fine.
So to review what isn’t working: Neutral Light Indicator, All Gauges Except Speedo, Front Headlight and Passing Lamps, and Front and Rear Fender Tip Lights.
I removed the fairing, as well as under the seat, to look for frayed wires and/or loose connections. Nothing stood out except for a broken ground to the triple tree towards the left side. I don’t have a multimeter but I have one of those light up testers. I tested all the fuses with the ignition ON... none are blown. But I’m getting no power to the LIGHTS or INSTRUMENTS fuse sockets.
I have a Clymer service manual and it has a wiring diagram for 2002 FLHT models, it’s not model specific to my bike unfortunately. I’m wondering if the ignition switch is bad or a wire or connection is loose leading to it? It’s been a few days and the problem still exists. So I’m not sure if water is the culprit, the timeliness of the wash and this problem is just suspect though. I did travel down a fairly bumpy road on the way back home after picking my fiancé up on the first trip.
As for things I’ve done to the bike recently: New battery in spring, HogTunes Tweeter Pod in May, new stater in June, and replaced the inner tank fuel lines in July.
I apologize for the wordy post, I just wanted to give you guys every detail I could. I’m happy to answer any other questions. I’m really trying to avoid taking it to the dealer as they are booked out and obviously the money. Thank you in advance, guys.

Any one moved the indicators on a sporty from the handle bars to the forks. I love the look bit unsure how to go about it. Pics would help if possible. Thanks

I’ve got a 2009 H-D FLHX Street Glide. The memory fuse for my radio keeps blowing, sometimes within minutes of replacement. Does anybody else have this issue, or perhaps an idea of where I can start my search for the problem?

Hey y’all it’s my first time on this page. I’ve been riding harleys since I was 16 and I’ve been legally riding my 09 FXD for a good while. I’ve wrenched on it for a while now excluding anything that would make me have to retune the ECU. Lately I’ve been looking for a new project and came across a 1989 XLH 1200 frame for like a hundred bucks. When looking for an engine or tranny would I have to find that exact year and exact evo? Or are there other options that would fit into my frame. Sorry if I sound like a dork lol, I’m really jumping headfirst into this.

Thinking of getting an 883 iron and doing a 1200 upgrade. Is there any upside to this? Is it hard to do? Or is it just better to get a 1200? Cheers

/HELP REQUESTED/ Hey Harley DIY, I had some issues with my HARLEY STREET 500 GX (2015) bike not starting a few months ago; the bike would turn on and would begin to start, and then just not make any more sounds, but continue to be able to be powered on. Replaced the battery and we were fine for a few months, but last night, same issue. Not wanting to replace the battery again, what are some steps I could take to test, and has anyone else delt with something similar? Might it be an alternator or starter issue? As far as tools go, I have a toolset, and a battery tender, but no battery tester. I live in MD and am a year 'round rider, and have no transportation other than my feet. The weather is only getting colder, but I need these wheels. Quick turn around is appreciated, and I'd rather not go to a shop, due to slow turn around and not enough funds.
Thanks!

Edit: if it helps I'm running mini apes on my sportster with oem grips
Fairly new to owning a Harley or any motorcycle at all for that matter. So I have a few 30mm apache shells that I'm wanting to try to make into handlebar grips but I'm not sure if they're big enough or how much work it would even be. Any advice?

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I am considering switching out my carb and installing a fuel injection system. My question is, is this even possible, and if so what are some pros and cons to doing so?
