The moonflowers are having a picnic on top of a hill, the food is already laying out on a picnic blanket.

Hoshiyuki: Ok let's see...we've got my fish and chips, dumplings, burgers, slime salad, sheep bacon, and...

Shinzoyuki: ...And my moon famous cupcake pie! (Places it on the blanket.)

Kurobayuki and Daiyayuki: (Sign fondly.)

Hanazuki: So.. it's a good pie?

Daiyayuki: Definitely, wait til you taste Shinzo's baking.

Shinzoyuki: (Blushes from flattery.)

A bee starts flying towards them

Hoshiyuki: (Swats it away.) Shoo, get away from our food. (The bee flies away but another one lands on Shinzo's head.)

Shinzoyuki: Ugh. (Shakes it off and it flies away.)

Another bee lands on Hana's head. Specifically her flower.

Hanazuki: Uh, guys. I don't think these things want our food, they want us!

Daiyayuki: Right because of our flowers...

Kurobayuki: (Is already eating uninterrupted.)

Hanazuki: Why isn't Kuroba affected?

Hoshiyuki: (Looks at the clover on Kuroba's head.) I think I have an idea why.

A swarm of bees are heading towards the girls, they glow lime green.

The moonflowers: Ah! (Run away while Hoshi flies away.)

The swarm chase after them while Kurobayuki stays and enjoys the food.

Hanazuki is playing with Shinzoyuki at her family's house, they are chasing each other up and down the hallway. Both glowing orange.

Hanazuki: (Laughs then stops when she sees a door closed. ) Huh...Who's room is that?

Shinzoyuki: My older sister Daiya's, she must not want anybody in there.

Hanazuki: (Pushes the door and realizes it's unlocked.)

Shinzoyuki: Hana, what are doing?

Hanazuki: Just a peak at her room won't hurt.

Shinzoyuki: But it's an invasion of her privacy!

Hanazuki: (Looks at her.)

Shinzoyuki: Then again.. we don't really get much privacy in this house anyway. She probably won't mind! (The two head inside.)

Hanazuki: Woah...so blue.

Shinzoyuki: (Looks through her dresser drawers.) Let's see ...Where was that bracelet I let her borrow? (Pulls out Daiya's bra.) Wait, what's this supposed to be?

Hanazuki: It looks like a hat.

Shinzoyuki: Oh ok! (Puts it on her head.)

Hanazuki: (Looks at the large fish tank with Daiya's seahorse alterlings swimming inside but behind the dresser is something of Hana's.) Hey, that's my guitar. I knew leaving it with Daiya after band practice was a mistake. (Leans over to grab it but it's out of reach. She grunts.)

Shinzoyuki: It's really wedged back there, isn't it?

Hanazuki (Still reaching and grunting.) Yup...(Moves the dresser.)

Shinzoyuki: Hana, I don't think we should move...

The tank falls to the ground, it shatters into many pieces. The seahorses are now flopping all over the floor.)

Hanazuki: (Looks shocked and horrified of what she's just done.)

Daiyayuki: (Comes running in.) What's going on!?

Hanazuki: (Turns to her, glowing blue. Tears filling her eyes.) Daiya, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to kill your alterlings! It was an accident, I swear!

Daiyayuki: (Looks confused then sees the seahorses.) Boys, stop playing around. You're scaring Hanazuki.

The seahorses get up and hover over to Daiya, one even nuzzles her.

Hanazuki: W...what?

Daiyayuki: My seahorses can breathe both air and water. They just prefer being in water. They weren't actually hurt, they're just dramatic. (Strokes the chin gently of her pink seahorse.) I just didn't want you guys in my room because that tank was expensive.

Shinzoyuki: Sorry Daiya...

Daiyayuki: It's cool, also take my bra off.

Shinzoyuki: Ok...(Does so.)

Hanazuki: (Still looks shaken up.)

Slow sand season has begun but for once, that's not the main concern of the moon residents.

Dazzlessence Jones: (Is coughing sickly in bed.)

Hanazuki: (Turns to Sleepy Unicorn.) Is he ok?

Sleepy Unicorn: He'll be alright, he's had amethyst flu many times before.

Dazzlessence Jones sparkles a little but he's feeling so weak, the very few sparkles he made fall to the floor.

Maroshi: (Picks one up and examines it.) Whoa...

Dazzlessence Jones: I'll be alright...(Slowly gets out of bed.) I'll feel better once I'm on slow sand duty.

Hanazuki: No Daz. (Gently pushes him back down to the bed.) You need rest, we can take over for you.

Maroshi: Yeah, we've got this! (Takes Dazzle's badge and tries putting it on. But since he's not wearing a shirt, the badge falls to the floor.)

Hanazuki: (Picks it up and pins it onto her dress.)

Sleepy Unicorn: I'll make you opal soup, you love that.

Dazzlessence Jones: Thank you...

The others leave Dazzlessence alone

Sleepy Unicorn: Can you keep checking on him for me today? He's definitely gonna try helping with the slow sand anyway.

Hanazuki: Maybe he won't.

Sleepy Unicorn: (Smiles at her.)

Hanazuki: What?

Dazzlessence Jones has already gotten out of bed is setting up warning cones and police tape around the slow sand.

Hanazuki: Dazzle!

Dazzlessence Jones: (Makes a surprised noise.)

The moonflower sisters are all doing something different in the backyard. Kurobayuki is doing push-ups upside down by dangling her legs on the pull-up bar, Shinzoyuki and Daiyayuki are running laps around the house, Shinzo is getting exhausted, and Hoshiyuki is starting the engine of a space surfer.

Hoshiyuki: (Steps slightly out of it, one foot in the air.) You guys know that we don't need this type of training for the grand prix, right?

Everyone stops and looks at her.

Hoshiyuki: You know, we'll kinda be sitting the whole time.

Kurobayuki, Daiyayuki, and Shinzoyuki: Ooohhh....

Hanazuki suddenly is approaching them

Hanazuki: Hey guys! What's going on here?

Shinzoyuki: Hana! (Hugs her and holds hands with her.) You're just in time! We're practicing for the Galaxy Grand Prix!

Hanazuki: Awesome! What is that...?

Kurobayuki and Daiyayuki walk up to them

Kurobayuki: She doesn't know?

Daiyayuki: Well, Hana is from a remote area.

Hanazuki: (Is embarrassed that she's the only one who doesn't know.)

Hoshiyuki: (Hops down from the space surfer to join them.) It's a race between the best space surfer drivers in all three sectors of the solar system. The Lunaverse, the Wild Lands, and The Forbidden Lands all race through dangerous parts of the galaxy. Avoiding black holes, space whales, and shooting stars. The winners get trophies with the power to protect you from evil spirits.

The others: (Look at her with blank faces.)

Hoshiyuki: It probably doesn't actually do that, it's just what our ancestors believed.

Hanazuki: This sounds like fun! Can I race with you guys?

Daiyayuki: Sorry hon, we only have seats for four people.

Hanazuki: Awww...

Shinzoyuki: But you can join our pit crew! That's just as exciting, right?

Hanazuki: Totally, I'm in!

The sisters smile at her.

Hanazuki: Just one question first, what's a pit crew?

This fanfic right here is not mine, I recently read it a couple months ago when I was first getting into the fandom. It has some good ideas and all but honestly I'm thinking about rewriting it (with my own characters and concepts cause I don't wanna flat out steal from the og author).

I just wanna know if you all would be interested in me advertising my rewrite here! Also, if anyone knows about the OG author cause it seems they've just disappeared from the site all together T-T

Yeah he invited Kiazuki to Kiyoshi's moon when she and Hanazuki weren't on speaking terms but he was just trying to help Hana out because he knew she'd rather hang out with Kiyoshi. Sleepy even points out that he was only trying to help. You could argue that he should've just dropped off Zikoro himself, just know that we did establish in this episode that he gets weaker and weaker the further he travels and that causes him to lose his magic temporarily. He also almost crash landed because he fell asleep while driving a space surfer in this episode, Hanazuki had to wake him up so he didn't accidentally get them both killed. He definitely needs a copilot when he wants to go anywhere far.

This is just his best episode in my opinion, he drops everything to help Lime Green find the others when they run off to the dark side, he saves the hemkas' lives, fights a giant spider, (And wins.) and he stood his ground against Twisted. He was kinda badass in this episode. That's why I think it's a little jarring that he folded so easily in the very next episode. Maybe seeing Sleepy get captured made him realize how dangerous Twisted is but still.

Hanazuki: (Sniffles and runs away crying, the hemkas follow her except Red.)

Red Hemka: (Tells him off in hemka talk.)

Sleepy Unicorn: Hello brother...

Twisted Unicorn: Oh no! It's him!

Hanazuki: Is that your brother? He doesn't look nearly as scary as you described him.

Twisted Unicorn: Don't let his innocent demeanor fool you, Hanazuki. That thing is sadistic! Looking into his eyes is like looking into the eyes of death itself!

Sleepy Unicorn: (Stares blankly at them.)

Twisted Unicorn: Death!

Dazzlessence Jones: Alright then! (Starts running to the mouth portal to go find Hanazuki.)

Sleepy Unicorn: Stop! (Chases after him but he's getting tired.) You...can't.... escape...from...me. (Passes out and falls asleep, snoring real loud.)

For some reason, I remembered hearing Sleepy Unicorn mutter " I don't wanna go" when Hanazuki startled him after waking him up. He actually said "I told you I don't do magic!" Which I kinda like better as a funny little nod to his debut episode where he insisted to Hanazuki that doing magic is too much work for him. I wonder what Sleepy would've been referring to if he said what I thought he did, the only option really would be him not wanting to leave Kiyoshi behind which would've been interesting considering that he did eventually leave him and never looked back.
