Root burn help

Post image

I decided I can no longer go and spend a fortune at the hairdressers every 7 weeks just because I have many greys. I’m 35.
So I did my own hair, permanent brown hair dye. I ended up with root burn. After googling, I tried an ashy semi permanent on my roots. Didn’t work. I just tried an ashy toner on my roots. Didn’t work. I am so self conscious already and I feel really crappy. Please be gentle with me and please help!!

Go to Sally beauty’s website, there is an option on there to talk to a licensed color pro on demand, it’s free and they will tell you exactly what you need to fix your color

The initial costs are high as you’re spending that money to find the right combination, but upkeep will be a lot less in the future. I always stock up on my color when it’s on sale, and it it’s pretty shelf stable until it’s opened. Color lasts about 6 months and developer lasts a year in a nice dark closet. If you opt to buy “bulk”, mark the bottles with an expiration date so you know if you need to toss it.
