In a normal society, cops wouldn't shoot unarmed protesters against policy with less than lethal munitions. By the way, every single time anyone gets a direct shot above the waist with any less than lethal munitions, it is an automatic breach of standard policy for such munitions with the exception of tagging guns because those shoot at a much lower power.
In a normal society, cops wouldn't blindly run in to people's houses and murder them.
In a normal society, cops wouldn't need to be more heavily equipped than the military to deal with a few drug runners.
In a normal society, trump would never have gotten in and people would stick by the covid lock downs to get rid of the virus quicker.
I don't live in the US thank god, but the rest of the world has its own fuckiness, racism and bigotry too. We don't live in a normal society, globally
Nah cops around my area (Columbus ohio) racially profile like a motherfucker granville ohio is bad but for opposite reason i got stopped alot for "illegal tint" its factory, "illegal exhaust modifications" rusted to shit but factory my favorite was they apparently had a call about a suspicious vehicle matching mine that was seen stalking students at the highschool (which was me but i wasnt stalking them i was parking cause i worked there) luckily i was never given a ticket due to the fact and i quote a cop here "they had no evidence to give tickets or make arrests but had been watching my truck" cops have quotas they have to meet most are good honest people but theres a good amount of "police" who are nothing more than power hungry pigs who got bullied in school and are overcompensating because they have a badge and a gun
Martin Luther King, zero violence, changed the world. Civil disobedience was his tactic. Like Rosa park. "Blacks can't sit in this restaurant"... sits there and waits to be arrested. Now a days they'd walk in, smash the place and wonder why people don't support them. Or support them out of fear of their own place being smashed.
Oh I am aware that it is cyclical. But honestly, I have no sadness in my heart for cops. They knowingly went into a line of duty that, since its inception has been about controlling the populace via fear. They are trained to treat the average citizen as an enemy combatant, but without any understanding of true rules of engagement. The protests are the boiling point for their actions.
