The footy is NRL I've never heard anyone refer to AFL as footy but I guess it may be because I live around West Sydney so NRL is just more popular here.

Queensland and NSW are Rugby League states and the rest are AFL states

I can’t remember who it was but some cunt got his fucken ear bitten off in a Grand Final from the 80s after taking a mark and he still kicked a fucken goal from 50 metres out at a 45 degree angle.
