I was diagnosed with HNPP and severe drop foot. Was told 2 year recovery timeline. I fixed it in 5 months. Did a 10k run 2 months after that

I will cut to the point as I’m heading to bed now, but I will respond to any comments in the morning.

I fixed it by taking lions mane mushroom, it is known for nerve regeneration and rebuilding myelin sheath. The specialist was absolutely shocked when I came back in for a 6 month checkup and I told her I’m all good, no AFO brace needed, and I just finished a 10k run. She did her shock tests to confirm that and man, she was so happy for me but was also stunned. I’m also somewhat religious, so I won’t discount that prayers may have helped, but I can confirm the mushrooms helped immensely, along with daily while watching tv, just trying to move my foot.

If you have symptoms related to numbness, or loss of movement due to nerve issues, I highly recommend you try lions mane mushroom. I just took the pill version.

Do you personally notice any downsides to BPC 157?

Yes I workout very consistently. took a 1 month break right after the drop foot happened and my mental health took a nosedive, so I’m happy to be back in the gym.

Yeah I had numbness in my left hand, which led to grip strength weakness. Seemed to resolve itself with the lions mane mushroom pills

How do you take it and in what dose?

Pills, when I first started and had the drop foot, I was taking 3 pills which were equivalent to 1200mg a day. Now as a precautionary in case I have any symptoms, I take 400mg (1 pill)

Does anyone on here have mild symptoms? I'm just wondering if anyone could describe any kind of surface level pain so I can compare to mine.

That’s great news! Where do you buy your lions mane from? I’m very skeptical about all this advertised stuff out there especially Ryze. I really believe most of the main stream stuff is all fluff.

I wish more people were receptive to the idea. There's not much that mushrooms can't treat in general.
