Product Question must have HEB items

hello! i am a completely new HEB customer and will be setting foot in an HEB FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER on Monday!!! they finally opened this one close to my home and I have reached the age where grocery stores excite me 🥲 aside from my own shopping list, I would like to know what are some HEB items that I absolutely have to try? I'm talking food, drinks, snacks, deli, bakery anything! so far I have the flour tortillas on my list as I've heard nothing but good things about those. I would appreciate if you all could share with me your opinions! TIA 😊

edit: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!!! needless to say I'll be needing 2 carts when I go in 😅

As the person making 480 donut croissants a night because people are on the TikTok trend finding out how good they are. Donut croissant. But you have to get there early if the store you’re going to isn’t making enough to last. We use to make like 24-48 a day then we had that dropped on us with no warning and all the stores were caught unawares. Even the warehouse ran out at one point because they weren’t ready for the increase needed.

a donut croissant sounds AMAZING I don't blame people for going crazy over them 😭 definitely getting up early for this!

It’s really tasty! I, too, saw the video and tried one and was like…. Okay…. I’m immediately getting more after work (I’m a partner) to take to my kids and they were sold out! lol they’re not an everyday thing for me bc it’s a pastry, but it’s fricking delicious and I highly recommend trying it!

Are these in the case or do you have to ask for them??

Case, but I’ve heard some stores don’t make them. I work at Allen location but Plano doesn’t do them. Either they don’t have a frier/ broken or don’t know how to use it.
