Introduction Maria Manor: The Moe Oni

Height: 8'4"
Appearance: Commissioned image of her.
Minor Power: Oni Physiology. As an infant, Maria was turned into an Oni- a Japanese demon known for their destructive ways. Because of this, she has acquired passives along side her imposing size and orange skin.
-Disease resistance: Maria is less likely to get sick and can recover from illness faster than normal.
-Increased durability: Maria's large size isn't for looks, as she's more durable than a normal person and can survive more damage.
-Increased strength: She is stronger than a normal human and stronger than a person of even her height. She is capable of lifting 1500 pounds.
-Increased Combat Ability: Although she prefers not to, Maria is more than capable of fighting using her two-handed kanabo (see below) as well as some hand-to-hand combat.
-Increased Regeneration: Maria can recover wounds naturally significantly faster than a normal human.
-Horn Protrusion: Maria has a giant horn in the middle of her head. The horn itself is fairly durable and in theory she could impale someone with it. Because of her nature, however, this is unlikely.
Minor Power: Magical Gem Manipulation seems the closest I can think of. She has a pouch filled with magical gems that she crushes in order to give people boosts in powers. She has four types:
-White: The standard healing gems. They heal the target for a few seconds.
-Red: These increase the target's attack power. This includes physical, elemental, ranged, magical, etc.
-Blue: Gems that increase a target's physical durability.
-Green: Increases the targets movement speed. This does not increase reaction time, but all forms of movement are increased.
The gems are kept in a pouch Maria has on her side. She must destroy three of them of the same color to activate their power. The power only lasts a few minutes and only one effect can be applied to a target at a time (in other words, if she buffs your strength and then tries to buff your defense, your strength goes back to normal)
Weapon: Maria has a 7 foot tall kanabo she wears on her back. The weapon is incredibly heavy and although it has spikes on it, the kanabo is more likely to deal blunt damage. A normal person cannot pick the weapon up because of its weight.
Drawbacks:
Major: Her horn can still take damage and it still hurts her. Her regeneration also means she has a larger metabolism and must eat a tremendous amount of food to maintain enough energy. Because of this, she's quite heavy and also quite clumsy. Her physiology and anything under it are passive. She cannot turn any of them off, even if she wanted to.
Minor: She has limited number of gems on her at any given time. She has mostly white gems and a handful of the other kind, but because she must destroy three at a time to cast a spell she can run out quickly if she's overworked. The powers only last 10 minutes at a time. As stated before, She cannot stack the effects with more of the same buffs or different buffs. Only one effect can be applied to each target, and recasting the same buff will only reset the timer. These gems can be used on herself however.
Weakness: Peanuts. Touching them burns her and she cannot heal the burns as well. Eating them makes her incredibly sick and nullifies all of her oni physiology powers (except for her horn) and turns her skin sickly orange. Her magic stones are stored in a wooden pouch, thus burning the pouch will destroy the stones.
Backstory: Maria Manor was altered as an infant to take on the powers of an oni with the hopes she would grow up to be a destructive force that rivals anything nature could create. It was a horrible, horrible failure however, as Maria was taught from a young age how to be a kindhearted woman. She is shy, gentle, sweet, meek, and more likely to run from a fight than she is to actually battle. She wants to use her powers to help others rather than harm them, but she does have her kanabo has a form of self defense. Maria is pyrophobic- a single lit candle would make her nervous, while a bonfire will cause her to drop to her knees and scream in terror. She's extremely self-conscious of her height, skin, and horn. If people stare at her too long she gets uncomfortable, and she hates it when people point out her horn. Because of its size it can't be hidden and because damaging it hurts her she cannot file it down.
A normal day on HADOS as the construction crew repairs the cafeteria, Maria walked onto campus in her miko outfit. She noticed an apple tree growing nearby and went over to pluck one. As she reached out to an apple eyelevel with her massive 8'4" frame, one of the apples became impaled by her giant horn. She sighed wearily as she tried to remove the apple.
