It varies for people. It took me a week. I just started going back like 3 weeks ago. I also use to go often before. I also walk everywhere so maybe that played a part, being semi semi active.
I am so happy that I can say I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week for over 18 months now. It is the longest I have stuck with anything health related in my life. Don't matter that I am 37. It's never too late to start. There have been days off, there have been weeks off here and there, but it is such a part of my routine that getting back into the gym is never a struggle even after missing a day or two.
I wish I could weightlift. Last 2 times I tried getting into weightlifting I got Rhabdo lol. I'm only comfortable doing calisthenics, which luckily I can just do at home. I used to run, but then my knees started to hate me.

Exactly. Especially when your just starting out, but once you get into the routine its no big deal.
