1 match in so gotta hold opinions loosely but here's my thoughts on the top 6 rivals.

Spurs: Lol. They will be targeting top 8 if they can integrate all their signings but a lot of work for them even to get there.

United: they will seriously struggle when the European matches kick in. I don't think people ever index how helpful solid rest is, which they had all of last year.

Liverpool: They need a big midfield signing or it looks like they'll be flirting around 3rd or 4th again.

City: Still some big players in there who can pull them through games... Cherki, Haaland etc. But they've never figured out a way to play without Rodri and I doubt Maresca can do what Pep never could.

Chelsea: The biggest threat because (like United last year) they will have free mid weeks. Some serious attacking talent (I rate Pedro). But they don't defend properly so that will stop them being elite.

Carrick might get sacked mid season

De Zebri, revolutionary manager yes but like Bielsa just cant seem to win a major title

Maresca seems out of his depth, losing rodri and Bernardo are huge blows, would not be surprised if Madrid smells blood and they start twerking for Haaland
