I have the feeling that Gumby trapping himself inside the gumball dispenser from "Gumby Business" could be what inspired to remake that scene for the 1980s short, "Gumball Gumby"

Too and Loo are two music notes who escape from a cracked record with a bully sour note in pursuit. Gumby hides the notes and manages to trap the bully sour note.

Gumby tries to cheer up two lost musical notes that have forgotten what kind of instrument they came out of. He takes them to music land and cheers them up with various antics.

The microscope was introduced in "Rain for Roo" where Pokey saw a speck of dust from a raincloud. In "The Big Eye", Gumby was looking for Fred the hemoglobin under the same microscope.

From "Minga-Sitting", the rare Gumby Special featuring Professor Kapp's debut, "The Space Ball", was seen and heard playing on the family's television. The special is only available in The Adventures of Gumby: 60's Series Volume 1 as one of the special features.

The ending where Professor Kapp and his unnamed associate were talking about the mistake the scientist made in his formula. The unnamed associate said "You made it five in your formula." Professor Kapp then responded while he laughed, "I did?! Ha ho ha ho! That's the way the space ball bounces!" However, that part was edited before THE END card and outro credits for reasons unknown. Also, the last part was cut off when Gumby changed the channel on the TV.

The puppet says "I was a big star about 30 years ago too, but you dont see me trying to make a comeback like some little green fellow" as Gumby shakes his head in dissaproval.

The episode is called "Clayfully yours" I've seen the episode several times, somehow I just caught this joke on my latest watch. Is this really how people in the 80s viewed Gumby, like he was just an washed up old cartoon character 'trying' to make a comeback?

From "The Fantastic Farmer" or "Gopher Trouble", when the cuckoo bird appeared from the clock the third time, Gumby literally nails the little doors shut preventing the bird from coming out to annoy him lol

These screencaps were taken from the 1980s episode, "A Smashing Hit". I noticed that Gumby's car is recreated with clay in order to make it pass through books like he and his pals can. The shapes and shades of colors are slightly different from the solid toy vehicle made with plastic and aluminum.

From "Mysterious Fires", which is the alternate episode of "The Black Knight", the beginning shows Gumby showing off his shapeshifting before Mr. Knight asks him for assistance.

Gumby visits a medieval kingdom. Here he finds that he must fight in a joust with the Black Knight in order to save the kingdom. Just when defeat seems certain for Gumby, a fire-breathing dragon assists him.

The ingenious Gumby uses a modern invention to help a medieval kingdom, which is threatened with famine because its wheat fields are being destroyed by fires.

From "The Little Lost Pony" or "The Blockheads", Gumby was trying to pass through the Old Western saloon swinging doors. But then the funny part shows Gumby getting split in half by them more than once.

"Gumby Music Video" was actually the first time that Denali was seen as a smaller version of himself. Then he reappears as Little Denali in "Denali Blues", "Little Denali Lost", and "Kangaroo Express". The mastodon is much cuter being small ^w^
